How to Get There
Great hotel. Service, location, setup and all i can think of was well organised
I really appreciated the good service and the good hotel room. The free minibar was and extra addition in the superb room with an extraordinairy view
I live in California but my boyfriend frequently travels to Hong Kong for work and always stays at Hotel Icon. Aside from the great location, as it is immersed within the locals, the staff is one of a kind!! On his most recent trip to Hong Kong, I wanted to send a surprise to his room and a Guest Relations Employee by the name of Yuki was the right person to handle my questions. I called from the U.S. and she helped me organize sending a bottle of Sake and chocolate strawberries with a note added. The thorough help that she provided me amazed me from all the way across the globe.. as even in the U.S. you don't always get such customer service like this! She was a wonderful person to talk to and I look forward to personally thanking her in person during my trip shortly.
We were for 6th time at ICON Hôtel last Week... and one more time a fabulous experience. Quality of rooms, food and services are the best in HK since a few years. Special thank to Charlie Lin Director of Guest Relations & Public Relations and to the General Manager Richard Hatter for the great hospitality and services. We'll be back for sure...
My first experience was meeting the staff on being fetched at the airport by the hotel pick-up service. From this point, until my taxi left to the airport, I was overwhelmed by the genuine 'niceness' of the staff. Even when not in their line of interest, the cleaners would be chatting with you in the elevator...the kitchen staff or front desk would approach and bring information about something you may have mentioned the day before.
For the first time in all my travels I made an effort to be sure never to miss breakfast. Greens, with it's aesthetic charm and lay out, along with the food, was captivating. It was a pleasure to just linger there before starting the day. Afternoon tea with it's various cakes from top class chefs...simply wow. I struggled to eat the chocolate mousse, thinking I'd rather keep it as an ornament. The Bar on the 9th floor, next to the swimming pool has amazing views and the structure of the room, colour schemes and giant windows made for a perfect afternoon hang out.
My room, with city view, was exceptionally comfortable and well serviced every day.
My overall feeling of the hotel was that the layout of everything as well as the colour schemes gave a sense of great style as well as putting one at ease somehow and that the staff was genuinely interested in the quality of your stay.
I will stop over in Hong Kong again when I head to China...simply to have a few days there again.
My newly wed husband and I ended our honeymoon in Hong Kong. After doing hours of searching for a hotel with a difference we came across Hotel Icon in TST. It was difficult for us to decide where to stay ie in central or TST however we stayed at Icon and it was the best decision.
Hotel Icon IS like no other hotel. We have stayed at some wonderful hotels however this stands out from them all.
From the time we walked into the hotel up to leaving we were very well looked after. The customer service is outstanding, every member of staff we encountered were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The customer service made us feel like celebrities it was so good. All hotels should strive for this quality of customer service.
The rooms were beautifully designed, clean and even came with a free mini bar :-) getting a harbour view room is also a must. The light show can be seen and the view is spectacular. In fact we never closed the curtains even when sleeping as we wanted to enjoy the view.
The Above & Beyond bar on floor 28 was another spectacular feature. The service again was amazing, all staff were fantastic and we became fond of Tanika and Dino who made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Top class service from them. The bar also offered snacks and thy were also tasty and very well presented.
We had breakfast in The Market on floor 2 and again they did not let us down. The options for breakfast were endless even included a smoothie/juicer station. Very yummy and excellent quality food.
The gym facilities were plentiful and the pool was wonderful.
Thank you to Hotel Icon who gave us the best end to our honeymoon. Highly recommend hotel! A must stay in Hong Kong!
