How to Get There
We arrived at this hotel to celebrate my sons 21st birthday which we had specifically informed the hotel of . We arrived to. Be told our 2 rooms were not ready and that each room was on a different floor . My whole party of 4 was all under the same surname so that should have been a good clue to the staff we were all the same family . But no it wasn’t . After a huge argument telling the staff this was my sons 21st birthday and we had just done a flight from the Maldives so wanted to freshen up before going out to celebrate we were finally shown to our room which after much arguing were on the same floor . We walked into 2 rooms that were dirty with very visible carpet stains . I rang down to reception and suddenly I had 3 managers in our rooms photographing the. Stains and apologising . Finally after 3 more hrs we got 2 clean rooms . Now it was around 8pm we were tired hungry fed up and my sons 21st birthday was completely ruined by this ‘5’ star hotel .
Not impressed what so ever with their rooms and time it took to sort out this problem . Oh and just to finish it off they denied ever knowing it was my sons 21st birthday
Though it was clearly stated in emails to them . I have below included a photo of what they gave my son for his 21st as their apology .
Excellent hotel, easily accessible to the MTR (subway) . Friendly staff and rooms have excellent views over Kowloon. Ask for a high floor if possible. Good Chinese restaurant on sight and good breakfast buffet.
we are staying here on route home from Australia. we got delayed due to protesters at the airport.on Tues.. went back to the hotel... no problem getting rooms. looking after us so well.. went to the bar on the 41st floor last night Wednesday for 1 drink... the waitress remembered that i am glutenfree... because we ate there on Sunday and brought a lovely bowl of fruit instead of the usual nuts.. just a thoughtful thing to do..
