Luxury tower featuring 9 restaurants, an award-winning spa and dazzling floor-to-ceiling views over Victoria Harbour

The Lowdown

Even in a city renowned for its luxury hotels, the Grand Hyatt stands tall, thanks to features like floor-to-ceiling windows framing views of magnificent Victoria Harbour and top-shelf amenities from a show-stopping outdoor pool to a driving range. The award-winning 11th floor spa offers a serene ambience and treatments that target both execs (like the pre-flight massage) and romance seekers (a 3 hour-long couple’s retreat), while the nine restaurants and bars take diners all around the world without leaving the property.

In the Area

Escape the urban hustle by hiking one of Hong Kong’s great trails like Lantau Island or The Peak, reached via nearby Causeway Bay. Less gung ho types might prefer to take the tram up the mountainside instead, on the world’s steepest funicular. Browse for treasures on Hollywood Road, whose atmospheric streets are lined with antique stores and Chinese trinket shops, then hit the wine bars of funky SoHo, where the city’s movers and shakers go to slake their thirst and people watch.

Most expensive laundry ever
Reviewed 2 days ago

The laundry for a handful of clothes costs me over 3000 HKD. It’s more expensive than my room fare for a night.

And there was a Hong Kong riot going on at this time. Tons of police car outside the hotel and almost 1 million people around the area against new government policies. It was difficult to travel around at that time.

Fantastic Stay (but you might be able to pay)

Everything you would want from a hotel in Hong Kong - spacious, luxurious and attention to detail. But it does come with a price tag. Location wise, it is connected by a 15 minute walk to the Wan Chai station which might be considered a little long depending on the weather and season.

I need an extra circle to fill

This is by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. The room was immaculate, the views were amazing, and the food was delicious. Even the evening entertainment would put you in a spell. I assumed it would be fine dining galore, but I never suspected the service to be so posh. Everyone takes their job seriously and with care. Thank-you.

Gorgeous Views

I had such a great experience all around. Loved the views from this mobile office space. Dining options were great, staff was accommodating at every opportunity. We enjoyed the pool and access to the convention center and nearby shops. Great location island side!
