How to Get There
This is a convenient place at Tai Khoo Sing if you want to stay in a business hotel within a shopping area and just 20 metres away from the metro station.
I love the view of my room.
Will stay here again when I am back.
Stayed at the 'East' a while back on my first trip to Hong Kong. It was simply fantastic. The place the layout, the convenience and the service. The food was good it was really an experience to remember. Located centrally with access to the MRT I could go anywhere and easily find my way back. very good shopping is also found nearby. It will be a hotel I will never forget and have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.
I have stayed in many hotels in HK and was always interested in trying out EAST and finally I did and I'm glad I experienced it. It is a really cool hotel with some excellent facilities. It is located in Tai Koo right next door to a huge shopping mall which has just about every shop covered. It is also a few steps away from the MTR making it easy to travel anywhere in HK and the taxi availability is great compared to many other hotels (no waiting required). The restaurant and roof-top bar are great places to relax and serve good food. The room was well appointed, had an urban chic feel to it and was very relaxing. I had an urban view room which was fine but I would love to come back and experience the harbour view room.
As residents of Hong Kong we were able to take advantage of the Staycation rates for our wedding anniversary weekend - the staff (including the guest experience manager who contacted us beforehand) could not have been more accommodating, we were offered a free room upgrade to a harbour corner view room and a bottle of prosecco was waiting for us on arrival. Location is great - close enough to the centre to be convenient but with a different viewpoint of the harbour to most hotels, and without the chaos and noise of the centre. Pool is lovely and Sugar bar on the roof was a great place to the watch the sun go down. Connected to City Plaza (enormous shopping mall) and with many lovely restaurants in Tai Koo close by. Highly recommended!
This hotel is in the absolute promo location as it is right next to the metro, making it easy to get around the city. The room are very clean and nice, and I loved the shampoo and conditioner! The blinds are automatic and if you get a corner room the view is spectacular. Sugar, the bar on the top floor, is worth checking out as the view is breathtaking. The breakfast comes with a hot dish and a buffet. The gym is decent.
