How to Get There
The staff was very friendly and responsive. We loved our suite at 26th floor that had a panoramic views of Mongkok and the HK island. The sauna was first class and well kept. The gum was well equipped and with a sweeping view of Kowloon. The roof top swimming pool was beautiful. We were impressed and will be back surely.
We had a lovely stay at the Cordis hotel. It's in a bustling area, close to the metro, markets, shopping centre, etc. We felt it was the ideal location to explore everything around Hong Kong. Coming in from the airport, we got the airport express to Kowloon and then a taxi, which was about £5-6. We were glad we did this as it may have been tricky trying to find the hotel at first. Once used to the area, it was really easy and cheap to get around on the metro and buses. The hotel was really nice. Nice room, with comfy bed. Nice rooftop pool and gym. Great location. Staff always friendly and helpful. They resolved an issue we had with noisy neighbours at 2am...within a few minutes of me calling, they had obviously spoken to the people involved as it went quiet very quickly. Was very pleased with how quickly it was dealt with. The rooms provide you with a 'handy' phone which includes data and calls (inc. to the UK). This was so useful for using Google maps to get around, although you have to watch the battery, as it died on us a couple of times after using it a lot.We had a club room, which had a great view and access to the club lounge. It was really handy having access to somewhere chilled out to sit at the end of a long day of sightseeing to have a few glasses of wine and some food.
Excellent service from checkin to checkout. Hotel even made effort to ensure kids enjoyed their stay too. The kids were super elated when they found personalised name card and welcome snacks for them in the room!
The location is great, so many things are walking distance there is even a bridge connecting it to Langham Mall. The service and staff were great, cannot fault them on anything. The Club Lounge is definitely worth the extra expense. A beautiful hotel with wonderful works of art throughout the hotel, you can wonder around for ages just taking in all the art. There is a guided tour every afternoon and they supply you with book & map of things to do in HK, they really make your stay extra special!
Excellent visit - nice clean accommodation, Club lounge well worth the extra expense and Staff very proffessional with a personal touch. Excellent gym / fitness centre. Good shopping close by without all the ususal tourist traps and expensive shops - Highly recommend
