The 512 rooms in this 61-floor skyscraper above the posh Pacific Place mall have larger-than-average layouts, offering guests breathing room in the space-starved metropolis. The interiors are also designed to soothe with clean lines and an understated chicness with touches of gold and gleaming wood panels. Frequent business travelers who need a breather from the urban jungle should opt for Victoria Peak-view rooms for glimpses of the actual jungle. Or allot some time to lounge by the heated outdoor pool and hot tub.
In the Area
Sticky heat and rain — Hong Kong’s default weather settings — don’t need to ruin your day in Admiralty and Central, the city’s shopping meccas. Pacific Place’s marquee collection of top international brands (plus a movie theater that serves wine and canapes) and The LANDMARK’s stronghold of up-market malls, including the glamorous ifc on the harbor, are linked by subway and an elaborate network of covered walkways. That means you never have to get wet or break a sweat putting your credit card through its paces. When the weather holds, unforgettable views from Victoria Peak (and more shopping/dining/museum-ing) are just a very very steep tram ride away.
How to Get There
Stayed one night at the Conrad. The hotel’s checkin system was broken when I arrived but they still managed to check me in for what they apologised as a delay was barely one. Amazing room had a beautiful view of the city. The breakfast was sumptuous and a lot of variety and seats a lot of people. Coffee was good too!
Hotel location in Pacific Palace is great. Very convenient to giant mall in lower lobby and easy access to MTR station. Rooms have good view of harbor and city.
Working ahead of time with the concierge team ( particularly Thomas) was excellent. He was not only very knowledgeable and full or suggestions but also very serviceable. Antonio was also very helpful in coordinating transfers, tickets to ferry and general recommendations. Executive club and breakfast buffet both excellent.
I stayed between 30th May - 4th June, taxi from Central train station to Conrad approx 30HKD taking into account not during peak hour traffic. Arrived mid morning expecting to leave bags with the concierge.
The lady at check in incredibly organised a room for me to freshen up and use before my room was ready. this is just service beyond all wishes, Just cant find the words to describe that feeling of being looked after so well.
My room was on the top floor, 61st level. The views from here are breathtaking, the whole of Central, Kowloon and the New Territories falls to your gaze. Stunning vistas day & night.Talk about spoilt!!!!!
The room was furnished perfectly for me, as always! The executive lounge always provides the best of service and information, located on the 59th level. The views are excellent here too.
The pool still remains my favourite, just a great place to chill, ahhh. The gym pretty much covers everything you need unless you are hardcore. Please read previous reviews for more details about the Conrad - Pacific Place etc
We've just checked out having spent 3 great nights in the Conrad during our first visit to Hong Kong. We had an Exec room on the 61st floor with a fantastic view of the harbour. Everything about the room and service provided by the team and especially Gloria and the Exec lounge team was faultless.
The hotel's location is really central and makes getting around using the MTR or skywalks very easy. It's also really handy for the Peak Tram which is just a short walk through a nice park.
The only negative thing about our whole stay was a deadly at checking in where they could have done with more staff, however even then a bell boy realised the queue was building up and appeared with cold water bottles for everyone.
Great hotel, fantastic service and very much to be recommended. We'd have no hesitation in coming back.
Hotel is right on top of a high-end mall. Everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Wonderful breakfast at the executive club well worth it. Courteous service. Great location near many sites (Hong Kong Park, the tram to the Victoria Peak). Access to the MTR is reasonably convenient.
