How to Get There
Amazing facilities. Room decorated with a asian theme, using the same wood pattern. The special care for our necessities was other noted point. I was attended in each single thing that I asked in a few time.
Location perfect ! In the heart of Sanlitun, modern district of Beijing. About 40min/1hour from the airport by taxi, depending of the traffic.
Spacious room, wood lover will be amazed by the interior design. I personally love it ! Many facilities, different plugs in the room everywhere, some adapted to other plugs than chinese one, useful ! Excellent bedding and a surprise everyday during your stay ;)
Good restaurant and bar. Helpful and lovely staff all over the hotel. Super swimming pool and fitness center.
The only thing who let them miss the 5 stars in my rate could be the too big difference of temperature inside the hotel. Also, little problem to turn the light off, despiste the special button for that...
Anyway, great hotel.
You can go there and be sure to enjoy your stay !
Once again, the Opposite House is another beautiful architecture built by the Swire Group. The building and its rooms are furnished with lots of wood which lends a Japanese touch to it (not surprising as it was designed by a Japanese architect). We loved the room and the facilities (gym and swimming pool).
Location wise, it’s in the Third Ring next to Sanlitun shopping area. Beijing is so big that you need to know where you want to be before deciding on your location. We needed to be in the Third Ring area so this suited us fine. Concierge will call for taxis if required but this is Beijing so taxis can take 30 mins to arrive.
Looking forward to our next Swire adventure.
Great location, great service and super chill/ helpful staff for this stylish boutique hotel.
TOP choice for business stay in BJ China and ease for luxe shopping.
Located in the heart of SANLITUN , pretty convenience.
For our fist stay in Beijing we wanted to stay at a place we knew and after staying a few times in The Upper House, it was clear to us that we will get good service and comfort, and it feels like coming home with the warm feeling the staff gives you.
The special design of the hotel by mixing modern Chinese art and Japanese minimalist is a well designed place.
Location could not been better for shopping or nightlife or eating.
Only disappointment was breakfast, if they could get the chef from upper house to train them and some more fresh juices and fruit.
We will return for sure!
