This was our first trip to Beijing (or China for that matter). From arrival to checkout our stay at The Opposite House flowed with comfort and ease. This was due in large part to the staff. A special shout out to Aaron who became our personal concierge making sure we had things to do and an efficient, comfortable means of getting to/from them!
We were upgraded to a large corner suite. The rooms are fully equipped with universal outlets and usb ports and a free minibar!
We had an amazing dinner at Jing Yaa Tang which offered great service, great wine and delicious Chinese offerings.
Another outstanding Swire property, what is Opposite about this House is that it delivers point of difference - in end to end service and value. Ideally located in a modern retail area, the hotel shows its spacious clean lines and sleek finishes the moment you step inside. The minimalism of the lobby evokes a modern art museum and the rooms prove that crisp white, wood and glass are always in style. The staff are most attentive, with special calls out to Paul and Aaron for anticipating our wishes and exceeding all expectations. Jing Yaa Tang deserves its reputation for sensational Peking Duck; the ambience and friendly service at this in-house restaurant were first class. With an offering this good, the Opposite House will certainly remain our House in Beijing.
Our favourite place in Beijing. Modern, stylish, nice ambiance and very friendly staff, specially Jessie. The rooms are very spacious and very modern. Lovely swimming pool. We love the village cafe and the terrace!
If you’re into chic minimalist Scandi then you’ll love The Opposite House. Wonderful service and great facilities. Right next to luxury fashion retail as well. It’s now on my favourite places to stay list!
