How to Get There
If you are seeking for shopping in Beijing, The Opposite House is literally next to all the high end boutiques as well as all the modern urban brand stores. But it also comes with best hospitality with great crew making sure that you have the best experience with your stay. I'm sure I'll stay with The Opposite House if I come back to Beijing again.
I had great experience stay in Beijing opposite house! Great location and good hospitality! It is very helpful they bring up the food that I order! I will like to stay there again! Big love for HK upper house too!
I was in Beijing in winter for a work trip and how lucky to be staying at the fabulous Opposite House Hotel.
The property with its impressive design by renowned Kengo Kuma and the excellent Beijing roast Duct at Jing Yaa Tang makes for the perfect stay in Beijing.
Thank you to all the excellent staff for the fantastic service.
I've spent many nights at the Opposite House as part of my work travels to Beijing, so I figured it is finally time for me to leave a review.
I suppose the fact that I keep coming back to this place speaks should speak for itself, but let me elaborate.
It starts with the property itself. The vibe immediately grants one comfort and refuge from the bustling Sanlitun neighborhood right outside its doors. There is an awesome bar downstairs called Mesh, as well as some top notch restaurants.
The property has a gym and a large pool, although I find the pool area a tad too dark. Again, it's part if the vibe that the hotel exudes, so if you are looking for that Zen-y feel, this is your spot.
The rooms themselves are relaxing, clean and spacious. Furnishings are mainly wood, which I personally like a lot. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, as there is a slightly woody scent associated with that. Bed is extremely comfortable, and of course there are all the other amenities one would expect.
Where the hotel really shines the most is with the service. I have yet to experience one disappointing interaction with the staff and this over the course of 40+ nights. Not only do they check all the boxes for general high end service, it's a little personal touches, that make the Opposite House feel like a true home away from home.
Great stay and very helpful staff! I was once worried about having trouble communicating with the staff.. luckily the ones i was greeted by spoke perfect English and having staff that speaks Cantonese was a bonus!
Only wished my stay was longer
