How to Get There
I have stayed in Opposite House several times. It is always such a great experience coming back. The design of the hotel is beautiful. The staff is super warm and attentive, especially the Front Desk. I love their breakfast. the food is excellent. Will definately come back next time.
If you like chintz and deep pile carpets, you'll hate the Opposite House.
However if you like stunningly simple, calming design, the warmth of natural wood and a sense of space, wrapped in warm but unobtrusive outstanding hospitality, then stay here. With the rooms wrapped around a huge, light atrium gallery, the Opposite House is more like a minimalist cathedral than a traditional hotel. No corners crammed with laps and rugs. Just space and light, elegantly framed.
I cannot recommend this place enough.
Our second time staying at the Opposite House. It’s a great hotel in a fun area of town with lots of fashionable shops and restaurants. Great rooms and breakfast.
Thanks Lynn Du for the personal touch. See you soon.
The hotel is wonderful is every aspect.
From the Architecture and Design of Kengo Kuma, to the Restaurants, the Relax Areas and to the professionally of the staff. Moreover the area where is located is very comfortable, in the heart of Taikooli District, the surroundings are inspiring and unique. We will surely come back if we would like to have a perfect stay.
