Very pleased with the experience
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I have had quite a bit of experience with hotels in Beijing and none of them measured up to this one so far for the price and value. The room is very nice and I'm quite happy with the cafe food. There's an assortment of fancy food that I don't have a chance to try yet. I'll be back again in a few days and I'm looking forward to find out more.

front desk

Frequently staying in this hotel, today is Thanksgiving Day. When I checked in, the beauty at the front desk sent me a bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates. I am very happy. The lights outside the hotel are also very bright. It looks very warm. It seems that I am not so tired on business trip.

Pretty nice

Nice comfortable hotel, rooms spacious and clean. Front desk particularly friendly and helpful and a great choice at breakfast though hot food not always kept hot. Prices advertised in the bar are not the prices you pay as these do not include the extra charges they add on like service charge and taxes so beware. It is shown on the menu in tiny writing at the bottom but as they don’t actually give you a menu they just show you the prices and range on an iPad you have no chance of noticing this. Overall a nice visit but certainly not 5 star hotel. Still good value for money

Overated
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We've been few nights in this 5 star hotel, that is nothing different from a 4 star hotel. The staff is kind, the garden is vert nice. The rooms are outdated and old, not enough care on the details in the room utilities and design that should have made difference from a 4 star hotel. I liked the large gym. The breakfast is average quality, the dinning room for breakfast is too clouded and too loud, having breakfast there doesn't makes me feel relaxed in the morning. They makes people wait in a line because there are not enough seats.
For the price asked, this hotel is way overated in my opinion.
