How to Get There
The hotel is located next to T3 of Beijing Capital international Airport.
I stayed in Cordis for an overnight layover I had in Beijing.
Lovely hotel, very quiet, modern and well maintained.
The room was very spacious, silent, clean and the bed was really comfortable.
The shuttles to the airport make it very easy to get to and from the hotel.
Good hotel near to the airport at a good price.
Its a little embarrassing, but I had some issues upon arrival in Beijing and I had to pester Malvin (Thank god he speaks fluent English!) and the staff way too much :S. Still he was INCREDIBLY helpful and actually printed out a map for us on his own accord!
(He color coded the subway points for us lol, I guess he knew I would get confused just looking at the map)
Overall an unexpectedly good hotel great for a transit flight, imma drop by again and see the new changes!
We used this hotel for a one night layover in Beijing. The shuttle came on-time to pick us up from the airport. They have a pick-up point at each terminal, very easy to find. Check-in went smoothly, the doorman, bellhop and front desk staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Our room was nicely furnished, very clean and quiet. We could not hear another person while in our room, so great night sleep! I do believe there was some construction going on in the hotel, but we could not hear anything, but did see a boarded off section. There are a few markets and noodle shops within walking distance of the hotel, easy to grab a bite. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel, but did use the workout room. It was also very clean and plenty of equipment to get in a work out. Their shuttle service was very reliable and it was easy to grab free shuttle back to the airport the next morning. I would definitely stay here again.
Getting hotel shuttles in Beijing is a challenge, and some have suggested walking to Cordis, but with little else as a guide. So here is my navigation plan in more detail.
If you dont have a lot of bags, just avoid all the worries about shuttles or cabs and walk from terminal 3. Here is the best way.
1. Exit T3 at door F7 or F9 and you'll be right at the place where the buses leave from (not shuttles, ticketed busses).
2. Turn right and walk to the end of the terminal.
3. The road forks here but stay right, along the fence.
4. You'll pass a parking space (prob employee) but keep going along the side walk.
5 As the pathway curves your next landmark is the covered locked wire sheds for bicycles and motorbikes. Keep going. They're on your right.
6 At the end of the bike sheds there is a crossing which takes you right to the hotel entrance.
7. Shouldn't take more than 10 mins
The hotel is very visible from the terminal, especially at night with a big neon sign. So you cant miss it.
Once there it's a nice place to stay..
Location is great for those who needs to catch the flight. It is located quite far from the city center so recommended for short time travelers. Price was decent and the reception staffs were amazingly helpful. Room was very clean and quite spacious as well. I would definitely want to come back if I visit Beijing again in the future. I did not have any breakfast so no comment on that.
