Business casual downtown digs near the Magnificent Mile, the River Walk and Millennium Park
With a prime location in the heart of the Magnificent Mile, the Hyatt Regency Chicago puts travelers in proximity to the River Walk, Millennium Park and some of the city’s best museums and shopping. Fresh off a $168 million renovation, the look is business casual, fitting as the 36-story hotel attracts lots of conventions and biz-types. Expect clean lines and a muted palette of beige and sand with pops of orange.
Bed & Bath
The 2,019 guestrooms received a face-lift adding contemporary style with earthy color schemes plus modern touches like 37-inch flat-screen plasma TVs, upgraded bath amenities and iHome docking stations. Guestrooms start at a modest 320 square feet, and many offer skyline or Lake Michigan views.
Sustainable seafood, organic produce and thoughtfully sourced beef are on the menu at Stetsons Modern Steak + Sushi. The more casual American Craft Kitchen & Bar offers comfort fare, like ahi tuna melts, meatloaf and buttermilk fried chicken along with daily blue plate specials like tuna casserole and Sloppy Joe. After dinner, head to BIG Bar for a huge selection of beer and cocktails as well as 26 flat screens to watch sporting events.
