Amazing Hotel!
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I love this hotel! It is a 5 star hotel and the rooms range from around $100 to $300. They put on your bed stand the most delicious chocolate ever. I found the place that sells it and ended up bringing back many boxes of it for my friends. They make the most delicious hot chocolate, and even though they don’t technically sell it to customers, they sold me a few pounds of it because I loved it so much. The food is superb, the staff is amazing, and the rooms are cozy and luxurious. It was my friend’s birthday and they surprised her by writing Happy Birthday in rose petals on her bed. Our incredible waiter brought her homemade candy his family makes. If you are looking for a hotel that makes you feel like you are at home, then this is the place for you! I included many pictures on my Instagram account, Lauraryan_foodandtravel.

Eclectic and funky in a great location

It's great to visit a well executed boutique hotel that is not part of one of the large chains. Hotel Bo fits the bills.
A lush modern garden dominates the courtyard and makes great use of indoor/outdoor space in the fabulous temperate climate of San Cristobal. The hotel's staff are exceptionally well trained and courteous, ensuring that you instantly feel welcome and at home. The are numerous comfortable lounge spaces and an excellent bar and restaurant. The food quality was excellent and the restaurant featured a great selection of well designed pasta dishes in addition to traditional Mexican and continental fare.
The rooms are well designed and comfortable with numerous unique amenities. You can tell this is property where the owners and staff genuinely care about the guest experience.
Hotel Bo is in a great location for exploring the "Pueblo Magico" of San Cristobal and surrounding area. We would definitely return.

Water and earth
Reviewed 1 month ago

We were told by our guide that Bo means water and lum(the restaurant) means earth in the local language. The place is a calm oasis from the town and the modern design is very beautiful. We had one of the the suites which was spacious and beautifully fitted. Having two showers and a large bath was great. The books of local treasures were also good. The welcoming pos (local alcoholic drink) was lovely as was coffee in your room for each morning. We ate once in the restaurant and as other reviews say it is of a good quality. The staff are all extremely friendly and solicitous although with mixed language skills. This comes to my only complaint. We had breakfast included in our room rate. When we went to breakfast the menu was all priced. We said we had breakfast included and they said yes. At the end of the breakfast (which was good) we had to sign a bill. We asked why as we had breakfast included and they said everyone had to. Unfortunately at the end we were given a bill for over £20.00 for breakfast. This took 20 mins to understand on checking out and we realised it was also why the person in front of us at the checking out desk was also complaining about. It has left a final poor memory of the hotel which until then had been pretty much perfect.

You will never know what is behind a door

The frontage of this hotel disguises how big it is. However the rooms are generous in size and have all the facilities one would want. The gardens were particularly well laid out in simple lines and the use of the water features made this a very relaxing hotel to stay in despite it being in the middle of a very busy environment.

Modern gem in San Cristóbal
Reviewed 4 months ago

This is a modern minimalist hotel in San Cristóbal, we really appreciated the neat lines of the construction, the luminous lobby with a beautiful and elegantly high wood roof. There are great spaces to read and relax outdoors and also a nice library and a family room.

Rooms are very pretty, very simple also, if you stay in the ground floor there could be some noise coming from the people walking around the hall.

The staff is outstanding, they're constantly looking for your needs, always smiling, always friendly and solving any issue.

I missed having a mini bar and some additional details in our room.

This is certainly one of a kind place in town.
