How to Get There
I had stayed here for 3 nights. All staffs are very nice and attentively service. Breakfast selection changes daily, I dont get bored with the old same standard like others. Thanks for making my trip completed!
The hotel is nice, but the picture makes it look better than it actually is. The bed sheets, pillows are very old and yellowish. Definitely need updates. Only one restaurant, and not very good breakfast. There is limited night time music. Staff is friendly though.
Mostly, this hotel is really great. There are a few things that keep it from being top rated. First, and foremost, is that it is not in a great location for being able to walk anywhere...and Chiang Mai is NOT taxi friendly at all (be sure to load and use the Grab app, which is like Uber). Secondly, it has a significant issue with the hot water turning cold and hot and cold and hot during a shower...and I do not mean small variations yikes!)! Lastly, not an issue for me, but please know that it is not disabled friendly (lots of waking required, and places where there are a few steps).
My friends and I visited Chiang Mai during Loy Kranthong and this hotel set it all the way out! First of all if you want high end, elegance, friendly staff, great food and by the water (the river), this is the spot for you. Just a 5 minute tuktuk ride from the night market, this place is simply amazing. I didn't want to leave! This is simply an oasis. I've posted a few pics of the hotel but I promise you, they don't even do it justice. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!!
Went down to the bar to have a beer and order some food to have it sent up to my room. was in a pair of shorts and a t shirt, flip flops. It was getting close to dinner time and the dinning area was starting to fill up. I Was told by the dinning room supervisor to next time stay in my room and just order, I guess she didn't like the way I looked. I won't be back
