How to Get There
An absolute must stay! Pure Luxury at its best. Spend the extra and stay in a suite. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Nothing was ever any trouble. We were very spoilt and will definitely return.
This resort and spa is quite in the citycenter near night district but it's surprisingly quiet and private with rooms and view of Ping river. Its library lounge provides cozy place for chatting with friends in ambience of books on shelves and cupboards. Its barbecued, grilled and buffet restaurant is also great place for dining at nighttime vy the river too.
Have had multiple visits and stays in Chiang Mai before. We came from Bangkok specifically to experience this resort and services for two nights and so glad we did. All the staff are absolutely lovely. We felt that their additional care included collectively being aware of us and our needs, even sensitivities on dietary preferences. Our September visit was during the slower season and we did enjoy the additional serenity of the grounds and being by the river.
We only have favorable takeaways from our experience here including our comfortable room with its king size bed (and the waterfall feature by the tub), using the well equipped exercise room, the dips in the large pool (and the pool bar drinks), the multiple dining experiences including our breakfasts, high tea and dinner, walking the manicured grounds (even seeing the squirrels), and having the hotel's airport pickup/dropoff. This was a very comfortable experience from beginning to end.
A strong recommend. Prior reviews have noted that this resort is remote from central Chiang Mai, but it was very (very) easy to take a Grab Taxi to any destination. We only left the premises once for a short visit to a museum. But if/when you come, plan foremost to enjoy the resort and the services. This is a place to just relax and be taken care of ... this stay exceeded our expectations. Compliments to the management and staff.
