How to Get There
Having a personal Butler, Pui, was a new and welcome experience for us. And a game changer in terms of enabling us get the most out of our time Chiang Mai. From helping us select tours and find our way around the city to serving as a convenient single point of contact for room service, transportation, housekeeping and other needs, Pui was a huge help. She, Anne (the GM) and the rest of the 137 pillars team are serious pros who clearly take pride in guest satisfaction via true 5-star service. They made our stay as relaxing and fun as it was memorable. Highly recommend.
My husband and I spent three nights at 137 Pillars House in Chiang Mai and adored every minute! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the amazing staff and escorted to our suite which majorly exceeded our expectations. Our butler, Pui, was so kind and helpful with making dinner reservations and giving her recommendations. We were out exploring quite a bit which we actually thought was a shame at the end because we would have gladly spent more time just enjoying the property itself. Breakfast was wonderful, with a spread of Western and Thai specialities, and the old-world bar is lovely for a happy hour cocktail. I found the location to be wonderful, set a bit outside of the hustle and bustle of the old city but close enough to walk in without any worries.
Truly wonderful stay! Many thanks to everyone at 137 Pillars for an awesome experience in Chiang Mai.
My husband and I stayed here for 3 days during our honeymoon and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. We had an issue with the air conditioner one night (it wasn't the biggest deal) and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, they upgraded us to an amazing room for our honeymoon and for the inconvenience, it was so professional and incredible of them. Special praise must be reserved for the butler on staff named Pui. This woman is a gift from the heavens, just the most incredible human being you can imagine. My husband got sick from eating something that didnt agree with him and she was the most helpful person you could imagine, always checking to see if he was okay and getting us anything and everything you could think of to try and ensure he was comfortable while going through that bout of illness. She is someone who we will never forget and this place is a place we will never forget as well, truly magic.
