How to Get There
The Five Pines Staff must keep incredible notes on file because they always remember us and try to find special cabins we like even at the last minute. Despite how busy they get you can always find someone on the phone that is willing to work with your reservations (big shout out to super helpful and sweet Beverly G!)
Thanks, Five Pines for your special touches and remembrance every time we visit. The staff is as amazing as the property! Cheers to you!
We hosted our annual Board of Directors Retreat at FivePine last week and it was amazing. Tricia and her team were incredibly easy to work with and every detail was attended to. The venue is so wonderful as you can walk from the cabins to the meeting space and with a spa and other amenities on the campus, there is something for everyone. Our group was super impressed with the accommodations and the quality of the food and hospitality. We hope to go back again in the future!
Sisters is a good base to explore Central Oregon's natural wonders. After a day driving and hiking, we retired folks enjoy our creature comforts. Five Pine Lodge delivered the goods. Our cabin was spacious, spotlessly clean and handsomely appointed. We had a king bed, a leather couch set before a fireplace and giant flat screen TV, tons of closet space. The bathroom had 2 sinks, a deep soaking tub (but it looked as if getting in and out w/o a grab bar might be a bit treacherous, so we didn't use it), and a walk-in shower with plenty of soft fluffy towels and terry-cloth bathrobes. There was a counter by the front door w/ coffee and tea supplies, a coffeemaker, a sink, a small microwave and refrigerator. The Mission-style furniture is attractive and comfortable. It was quiet and restful. We enjoyed it thoroughly, including the happy-hour pinot noir and chocolate porter in the lobby.
The breakfast buffet in the Conference Center, included in the room price, was adequate, but not lavish. The house-made granola was excellent.
We have only one minor complaint: my husband asked which was the best place in town to have dinner and the desk clerk recommended Three Creeks Brewing Company, their on-site brewpub. While the beer was excellent, the menu was pretty basic. We found out there are better choices a mile away in the center of Sisters. So that was bad advice. But all in all, it's a lovely place to stay for a couple nights and we would happily return on a future visit to the area.
My wife and I spent a night at FivePine Lodge & Spa on a trip through Oregon. I'm sorry that we couldn't stay longer. We had a small private cabin that had a fireplace, a soaking tub in the main room, a two-person shower, and a private patio that looked out onto open space. It was very romantic. In the morning, we had breakfast delivered to our door that include the making of mimosas. Need I say more. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.
My wife and I stayed in a Serenity cabin that was on the far side of the property. It felt very secluded and was so serene. The private patio faced into the Ponderosa Pine forest and elicited such a peaceful feeling. We had a doe with her two older fawns visit a couple of different times.
The shower was AMAZING with the rainfall shower head, waterfall shower head, and three body sprayers - WOW. My wife also loved the deep soaking tub. Breakfast delivery included with our Serenity room stay was just the cherry on top. Truly a unique and memorable place to stay!
