Interaction with Jose Manzo
Reviewed 6 days ago

I visit the Emporio Veracruz regularly. I stay there when our company sends us for work. Most trips are a minimum of six weeks. Over the last four years I have come to know and rely on Jose Manzo to ensure that things go smoothly. I can call or text Jose from anywhere and he always gets back with me to ensure my needs are met. He speaks excellent English. When I have family coming in he makes sure someone is at the airport to assist them. Jose is an important part of every trip I make to Mexico. From arrival to departure he will ensure your visit will be one you will want to recommend to others.

Spa experience

This review is for the spa, not for the hotel...

Miriam is an excellent masseuse — the spa was well worth a visit. Those wishing for a very hot jacuzzi or sauna are well-advises to specify so in advance!

Joyful stay

I stayed there with my family for a weekend during the sailboats festival. We reserved a room with a view to the beach which made our stay extra special as we were able to enjoy the festivities from our room. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us find a place to stay for our dog. The rooms are nice and everything is super clean. I really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Veracruz as you are close to many great sites and restaurants.

Insulting behavior by a supposed captain of the rooftop restaurant.

We are staying in 805. An employee named”Christian” was rude and offensive. We asked to sit at the rooftop bar and we were told he needed to check on our reservation. Apparently, rooftop drinking is for guests of the 8 floor. We were guests staying in room 805. I complained to a ineffective lady night manager. Terrible service, stupid attitude never staying there again. Deplorable!!!

Very Happy to be staying here.

I’m currently staying in the hotel. I’ve been here a little over a week. Likely to be here for another week.

First of, the hotel is nice. The staff is very friendly. From the bell hop Sergio greeting me and helping with my luggage, to the front desk attendant. Everyone smiles and is extremely helpful.

The first night, we ate down stairs at the seafood restaurant LosCanarios. My father and i were both completely blown away by how fantastic the food tasted. I’ve been to Singapore , Thailand, and China. I love all ethnic food. We have eaten there everynight and continue to be blown away by how great the everything we’ve eaten tastes. There is a waiter named Pedro that has been outstanding. He’s gone out of his way to be helpful with ordering and explaining how all the dishes are prepared. All the restaurant staff has been great. I will probably eat there every night. Going to just go through the whole menu.
