Excellent, marvallous hotel!
Reviewed 2 months ago

Wonderful, small hotel, very well located at a walking distance from the city center.
A touch of modern design, but always with local art and colors.
Small swimming pool, but nice to have a rest and read a book.
The bar was a bit small and they're not so used to having people at the bar, service was a bit slow, but acceptable.
Very kind and attentive staff.
Lovely place.

Gorgeous Little Hotel

We were in Queretaro to celebrate a friend's wedding. On her recommendation, we stayed at the Doña Urraca Hotel and Spa. It was a great decision to go with this hotel, because our stay couldn't be better!

I would recommend booking the hotel over the phone instead of over the internet - this worked out better for me.

We arrived around late afternoon, the check in was easy and our room was a master suit with a direct access to the pool.

The hotel is full of beautiful touches throughout the property. Gorgeous, sturdy furniture, modern-country(ish) decor, nice amenities and very clean surroundings made our stay pleasant.

The rehearsal dinner was held at the hotel and we got to taste some pretty amazing food from the hotel's restaurant. We also had breakfast at the hotel both days we were here. Both the buffet and the a la carte off the menu options were delicious.

I didn't get to check out the spa because it was heavily booked, so no opinions there. However, based on the experience from the other wedding guests, it sounded pretty good.

Overall, I highly recommend Doña Urraca hotel for a pleasant stay in Queretaro.

Business trip to Queretaro, one night stay

Business trip with 12 people to Queretaro. Single night stay. Older property, but all modern conveniences. Nice rooms, nice beds, lots of power outlets, USB outlets in room. Nice little restaurant, good food. Would prefer to have more WINE selections in the bar, but nice selection of beers. All staff are very attentive and good.

Wonderful hotel

Visited in June for a 5 day business trip. Hotel was spotless and rooms spacious and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable beds and breakfast was included in my price. Service at breakfast was a bit slow but food was good. Would visit again.

I am very careful in choosing hotels and I can say that I felt cheated by this one. All very bad: poorly functioning TV, air conditioning not working, wifi very weak, room lighting terrible. It looked nothing like a 4 star hotel. And the worst: the price shown at the counter is less than what is paid in the online booking. Do not go.
