Best Hotel in Puebla
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Over the years I have had my family stay at several different hotels throughout Puebla and Cholula and I can honestly say that there is none better than Casa Reyna. The hotel is right next to downtown Puebla which offers for the perfect location if you want to explore the city while staying at a luxury hotel. The building gives you the sense of staying in a restored medieval castle with all of the modern amenities you can imagine. From the stone walls, the water fountains, the decoration, staying at this hotel feels like a dream and you are the King.

The whole staff is extremely accommodating from the second the Valet picks you up at the front door to the time you say goodbye. The staff is fluent in English and Spanish and is willing to help with any questions or concerns that you might have.

The Restaurant serves quite possibly the best Puebla style food in the whole city. The Mole Poblano dish has won awards and is highly recommended. For breakfast, I highly recommend the Chilaquiles Rojos and the Panque de Elote. We ate there several times throughout the week and everything that we ate was very tasty.

And on top of all of this, there is a rooftop pool and jacuzzi with a massage parlor offering all types of massages for very reasonable prices to make for the perfect getaway from the stress of every day life. Also, I can't forget the jogging track on the roof that offers an amazing view overlooking the whole city of Puebla with the Volcano and Mountains in the background.

In summary, I can not say enough good things about this hotel and I have already made plans to book the hotel rooms for the guests of my wedding in Puebla a few months down the line.

Not perfect but worth it

Nicely located near Puebla's historical downtown, Casareyna is a cute place to stay and it features one of the best restaurants in the whole of Puebla. Still, those picky travellers who are very demanding with boutique hotels might find a few details to improve, like not having enough blankets in a cold night, but these are only details. The place is worth it.

Fantastic modern with atmospheric reference to its history

This hotel is stunning. Beautifully realised with great attention to detail and quality. Amazing staff. Great restaurant with fantastic food. Our room was stunning; very large, extremely conformabile and the bathroom was huge and beautiful. The pool area is fabulous and perfect after day of trooping around the city. I can’t recommend this place enough. Perhaps the only criticisms I could make are small and don’t really detract from the place; 1, the entrance doesn’t really give you an idea of how lovely it is inside (some might say it’s discreet but I think they’ve missed a trick), 2, the hot water in the shower could have been hotter and 3, although the continental breakfast is really good I think there should be a little more on offer like cooked plates without there being an extra charge.

Spectacular hotel

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in Mexico, the rooms are magnificent, every space full of art and comfort. The beds are out of this world, we really enjoyed it!! The baths are great, full of light, neat, spacious and with talavera details.

The restaurant was just absolutely delicious, we didn't want to go look for more options because it's menu it's got plenty of options.

Wonderful jewel in Puebla

A beautiful example of adaptive rehuse of an old Puebla house. The hotel is located walking distance from the city’s main square. The rooms are of good size with comfortable beds. Our room was too business oriented. It had a desk but lacked a sitting area or chair. The bathroom was of good size and had a beautiful wooden wardrobe.

The gym is super tiny and probable the worst area in the hotel. But the pool on the 4th floor terrace compensates for it.

The hotel is not very private since it caters to local social events. But over all it is a fantastic hotel at a great value.

Stay here during your next visit to Puebla. You won’t regret it!
