How to Get There
I just like to start by saying that the service here at this hotel its above and beyond!!! The rooms are very comfortable and with modern furniture and looks much more expensive that what the average price night is. Jorge at front desk is super helpful and friendly his service it’s also above and beyond. I will be staying here next time I travel for work or with my family. Fully recommended.
We have stayed here at least 3 times.
The good: clean rooms, nice staff, free and good breakfast, nice gym and within walking distance of Paseo Interlomas Mall with great shopping and dining choices and next to quick mart so you can buy water, ice cream, beer or other snacks. Rooms have refrigerator so you can store those goodies.
The bad: lots of construction around Interlomas makes traffic horrendous so allow plenty of time when planning outings, menu for meals after breakfast has shrunk from prior visits, some rooms facing road can be very noisy.
Overall I would recommend hotel and will stay there again
This was the 3rd time we stayed at Ventura Suites, it’s very convenient for families, the suites are very spacious and comfortable beds. We had a minor incident but it was very well managed by the Manager and team, we were very much satisfied and happy to come back again.
The rental car located in the same place is very convenient, price was good and the car very good maintained.
We stayed here for almost a month in October in between houses.
If you are being sent here, do ask for a room out back. There is a lot of traffic out front, so both the pollution / smell and the noise are unpleasant.
The staff are friendly and try hard, and the rooms are ok, but our list of snags was just too long for a better rating.
We had trouble getting bed sheets (in the end they took them off a bed in another room as they didn't know where they were kept and house keeping had gone home for the day. My son went to bed an hour after his bed time on a school night), the soap/ shampoo wasn't replaced until we complained several times, I had to wash the shower curtains as they smelled so bad. We tried the jacuzzi once, but black stuff came out of the jets when we turned them on. We'd asked for the steam room to be turned on and they forgot. When they finally did, it didn't work.
For those with three children, be aware that there is no option to put three beds in the second bedroom due to fire regulations. This means the third child has to sleep on the pull out sofa in the living room -- so once child 3 is in bed, everyone is!
Breakfast was nice (albeit a bit samey after a month!).
A good value, but don’t stay in a room by the street, as it is noisy all day long. Breakfast is appropriate though with limited choices. Checkout is at 11 and I needed to stay through noon, but was told that I needed to pay 60 US for the additional hour, which I did not find appropriate for a hotel that caters to the people attending parties by the golf development.
