How to Get There
From the moment we arrived until we leave, the staff members were very attentive. We stayed at the 9th floor where the executive lounge is located.
The carpet in the room is very soft and kind to your feet. Spacious bathroom and plenty of lights.
Barbies galore in the lobby. Unfortunately we did not book ahead of time to stay in the Barbie Rooms.
Gym is very clean and well equipped on the 15th floor. The pool is also nice although water was a bit cool. Slow service when you order at the poolside but the staff was very kind and helpful.
Location is great. Near 3 malls and is attached to Samara Shops (mall with supermarket/grocery store). Even though there is a fridge in the room, it is kept at ambience temperature not cool.
I stayed here on my honeymoon and from the beginning to the end of my stay the staff here was absolutely wonderful - professional, courteous, helpful to tourists, everything - but I really want to share one story about why this is the best hotel experience I have had in my entire life.
My wife got very sick on our honeymoon on one of the last days of our trip (no, not the food or the water, something else). I was freaking out - my wife is sick in a foreign country on my honeymoon, what do I do?! I went to the front desk, they told me don't worry about it, we will have a doctor there shortly. They were as calm and collected as I was a nervous wreck. Not only did they call the doctor to attend to my wife, they asked if we needed company while we were waiting for the physician. Within less than two hours a doctor arrives and treats my wife's illness. I was so relieved that she was able to get medical attention promptly and she recovered completely within 24 hours. Not only did they call a doctor, but a bellman even went to the pharmacy to get her the medicine she needed. Shout out to everyone at the front of the house who are the best vacation crisis managers in the world, hands down.
I want to add that I don't speak very good Spanish but they had a bellman on staff - Jonathan - who was able to translate for us in fluent English during a time when we were freaking out. In fact, if you don't speak Spanish, don't worry - this property always has someone at the front desk who does. There are probably some details that I'm missing, but I really want to thank everyone there for helping us out at a time when I was freaking out in our time of need.
Anyways, long story short, although our experience had a bump in the road, I literally couldn't have asked for better people to be surrounded by. I stay at Hilton properties all of the time for work, and in my experience, best Hilton in the world in my experience, hands down.
Great hotel and service. First t8me 8n Mexico City on business and felt safe the whole time. Excellent restaurants nearby. Great experience and great value. I will stay here again the next time I visit my clients in Mexico City Santa Fe zone.
The hotel was inviting and as always a good stay in Hilton Mexico City. The quality of service and atmosphere is very good. Definateley value for money. I was there on business for a week and have stayed there 2 times before. If I travel again to mexico city this is the best place to stay if you have business somewhere in the Santa Fe area in Mexico City. Good clean rooms, excellent facilities, good breakfast, overall good service and very polite and positive staff.
Stayed here for one night, hotel is beautiful and modern. Staff is super friendly, specially at Madera restaurant.
We had just 2 issues that get this hotel from getting an excellent review.
My wife asked for a crib before check in, and at check in they told us it was already in our room, it was 12:30 at night and the crib was not there despite they told us twice it was there. They sent it inmediately.
Curtains are so tall they are really difficult to close completely.
The WC did not work, I had to open the toilet water and it worked, I know its not a great issue but as a guest youre not supposed to do this.
Pool and hot tub are amazing. Would stay here again without any doubt.
