Good hotel

We Stayed at this hotel two nights, we had a big room with garden view. The room is clean but need a renovation. We supposed to have a 24 hours room service, we tried to call them to have our dinner at room but without any response, they dont reply at the phones! So we had our dinner at the hotel's restaurant which offers a good meals with a suitable prices. We found the staff friendly but know nothing about rooms location and view.
The hotel has a nice garden and close to Margaret Island but far of the city centre.

August 2018,The spa need a full renovation, it was good in the past but not anymore, expensive for what you get, most probably soon will be renovated. Is exactly like 15 years ago just not well maintained.

The Hotel is in a great area, & the staff are real good. Nice rooms & food is real good. It's easy to get to wherever you need to go in Budapest. The Spa is a great place to relax, & soak in the hot baths.

Slipped on sick
Reviewed 1 month ago

I stayed in the aquincum for a couples holiday and found the staff friendly but the place in need of a revamp. I have to say however, I tripped on sick in the elovator. I went to the front desk to inform them of the situation and was informed myself that they were aware and someone was sorting it. There was no one to stop anyone going in to the said elevator and now I have sick on my brand new new balance trainers! This made me sick, no pun intended. He did say sorry that I had slipped in the sick however so now I am completely satisfied...... not (borat voice) also the location leaves a lot to be desired and if you get a cab in Hungary, be sure you are going to get ripped off. In fact, don’t trust the taxis at all. Public transport all the way. Although I was called a british b**tch by one of the ticket inspectors. Lovely

Very friendly staff, good business hotel

Location is nice near Obuda, Margit Island (and lots of businesses).

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was large and clean with all necessary amenities.

The hotel looks well from the outside, nicely embedded in area; rooms and especially the bathrooms could benefit from a renovation though to get rid of the 1980’s style and give it a modern look.
