How to Get There
We liked the hotel layout. Room was nice. But our air conditioning barely worked and we were very uncomfortable. Housekeeping did not make our room our second and final day there.
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast - not free though.
This hotel is well placed for a fantastic view over the Danube to the parliament buildings and bridges - especially beautiful at night. Request a high room for the best view (we were given 3rd floor so it was partially obscured by trees and the building buttress). Our room was also TINY with very little room for storage difficult when staying for longer than a few days. We felt it expensive at nearly £700 for 5 nights not including breakfast which we enjoyed at the Steamroom one stop away on the tram at a fraction of the hotel’s price. Don’t expect too much help from the reception staff - they were pleasant enough but not eager to go above basic expectations.
The city is fabulous though so you won’t spend a great deal of time at the hotel!
What a wonderful hotel.. Budapest side but still within decent distance to everything. Food was great staff are lovely will book again. Rooms are lovely and clean and comfortable housekeeping kept it tip top clean towels everyday
