Budapest break.9

Our Budapest break was thoroughly enjoyable and the hotel was perfectly located on the Buda side. Beautiful views across the Danube and a wide choice available for breakfast and very efficient and helpful staff. We had complimentary use of a phone during our stay, so we never got lost and had information at our fingertips.

Very good

If avaliable, I always stay in this hotel. Nice decoration, clean, good bar, excellent breakfast, perfect location... Unfortunatelly during the last years the hotel is gettting older and sometimes you see that a new paint would be needful, hope that the maintainance will be done soon.

Gorgeous hotel

Amazing hotel, lovely views across the danube. Far enough out of town to be in a quiet area but near enough to get to the hustle and bustle without any issues. 20min walk across the bridge or 10mins on tram.

Hauling luggage up and down stairs is no fun
Reviewed 7 days ago

We stayed here for 2 nights and had high hopes when we checked in. The lobby is nice and the hotel is a great location. However, unless you pay for a waterfront room, you’ll be in the back part of the hotel with zero view. Not only that, you will have to drag your luggage both up and down stairs just to get to the separate elevator. No help offered with baggage either. Once you go up the elevator and get off on your floor, you guessed it, MORE stairs. Not only is this not fun dragging your luggage up and down the stairs but after a long day of exploring, the last thing you want to do when you get back to your hotel is have to go up and down more stairs.

The room was clean and good size but that’s all it has going for it. The front desk was completely unaccommodating when asked for help with bags and or a different room.
