How to Get There
Location was excellent with easy and quick access around the city and a short walk from great restaurants and bars. We had a double room overlooking the Danube. Fantastic view with tilt or open patio doors giving unrivaled view of Parliament building and river traffic. The room itself couldn't be faulted and included a well-stocked mini-bar which wasn't overpriced. Breakfast was superb and had hot food, cold food, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, juices etc. Certainly set you up for a day of exploration. Will be looking to stay in art'otels in other cities in the future. Two points which may also help your stay; the hop-on, hop-off bus was worthwhile. We brought the 48 hour ticket for about £26 each which included unlimited use of their buses ( with commentary) on both sides of the river, night boat trip and a host of free food and drink in various restaurants. We didn't bother with the food and drink so can't comment, but it was worth going on the entire city tour to find the places you wanted to visit. Later that day and then following day we used the buses to visit everything we wanted.
One thing to avoid - Szechenyi Baths. The dirtiest, overpriced rip off I have ever suffered. We upgraded for the 'Wellness Experience' - £90 for the two of us. Couldn't have been more disappointing. We only stayed for 1.5 hours including checking in, showering and leaving. The best part really was walking past the exit sign. There are many other spa baths around so check out their review too.
Helpful friendly staff, super clean facility with great views of the Parliament houses and Danube. The front desk are really friendly and helpful. Easy location for tram and bus and the front of house would arrange a secure taxi company that didn’t rip you off
A very quiet hotel close to the main attractions of the city.
Friendly people, clean rooms, the hotel is located close to Danube River and if you’re lucky you can have room with nice view.
I was really impressed about the breakfast. You should try.
