Perfection for music lovers

We loved this hotel ,that is in the very best position, and we stayed there for 5 nights. The staff, amenities and the rooms are not to be faulted and the "abundance " mentality of the afternoon cheese and wine with music and song by the wonderful Kasai (sp) just made our holiday special. The breakfast and the restaurant were superb and finally for the best view of the city close to St Stephens, the roof top bar, the High Note is known by all in Budapest! the pool is also fantastic to soothe ones aching bodies after a long day on the pavements. We also say thanks to Adam for his attention to service!

Excellent hotel but not perfect

I recently stayed a couple of nights at Aria as part of a European holiday. The Hotel is very well located next to St Stephens Cathedral. As others have commented it is very musically themed . On check in I was upgraded to a beautiful room which was much appreciated. Breakfast was also very good and the rooftop bar offered good service and great views. With one exception staff were very helpful and service was excellent. Unfortunately two things happened which soured my impression. I had asked the hotel to pre-book an evening river cruise for me. On check in it was demanded that I pay for this immediately and in cash. Most hotels I know would be happy to have billed this to my room and certainly would have allowed a credit card to be used for payment. Secondly I had also asked the hotel to pre book a restaurant for me for dinner on the evening of my arrival. Due to plane delays I was late checking into the hotel so I asked the front desk to contact the restaurant to push back my reservation time to give me the opportunity to get up to my hotel room and unpack. Whilst the hotel check in staff claimed to have done this for me on arrival at the restaurant I was told that my reservation had been cancelled as I had not turned up in time and that no one from Aria had contacted them. I am not sure where the fault lies here but it was not a great introduction to Budapest.

Highly recommend

I loved everything about this hotel. The location, service, food, spa. . .everything! I was traveling alone, and the hotel staff was wonderful about helping me with reservations, directions, and information about the city. The room was clean and very comfortable, with music and a fireplace. Convenient for getting out and exploring the city, And I loved the afternoon music and wine. Highly recommend!

One of the best hotels I have stayed in

Lovely hotel, amazing location right in the city centre so plenty of places to eat without having to go to far. Lovely entertainment each evening in the square but couldn’t hear from hotel as very well double glazed.

Sky bar very nice and lovely views at sunset and beyond.

Staff all very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. A boutique hotel that isn’t overly populated and so adds to perfection of it all.

Spa great and quiet open from 7-10pm for all guests for swim, sauna, steam. Had a lovely massage.

Rooms very spacious and comfortable, option to change pillows to memory, neck pillow and ear plugs and eye covers.

Travelled with my husband for a birthday weekend. More suited to couples or families with older children.
