How to Get There
Well what to say...? This hotel certainly lives up to its reputation described in the vast majority of previous reviews. My wife and I stayed for five nights in an upgraded deluxe mini-suite room and it was fantastic. This was our first (definitely not last!!) trip to Sicily and the hotel far surpassed our expectations. It’s small, it’s intimate and it’s a real treasure. Panoramic Sea views from our balcony, the aroma of pomegranate and lemon from the diffusers placed around the public areas of the hotel and of course the breakfasts... superb! We dined one evening in the restaurant with magnificent view of mount etna which was still smoking from the last small eruption a few days earlier. The food was superb and the wine and cocktails were fab. The pool area is small but was never crowded. For the most part we pretty much had the pool area to ourselves. Carlo the pool attendant was straight on any request for food or drink. Overall this was a fantastic place to stay and the friendliness and attitude of the staff was excellent and really makes a difference. Thank you hotel villa Carlotta! See you again soon. This hotel is perfect. Perfect location, perfect for relaxation, perfect base from where you can explore, perfectly clean and comfortable, perfect breakfast and meals, perfect, friendly staff and perfect hospitality. This is a small, luxury hotel a short walk from the centre of Taormina and I cannot fault it. It has the most spectacular views across Naxos bay towards Calabria and Mount Etna. We had a magnificent holiday and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
We stayed in Apartment 3 and it was faultless. Everything was provided and the view was spectacular. The restaurant was easily the best food of our trip through Italy and France so far. Could not recommend this hotel and room more highly. We will definitely be back!
If you are going to Taormina don’t look anywhere else. This is a little piece of paradise. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive without being fussy. The roof terrace has wonderful views and is intimate. The location is ideal, just 5 minutes from the main centre by foot and not too many steps, and as Taormina is very hilly this is a big plus. But above all it is the staff who made this stay so memorable. Yes it is at the top end of budgets but worth every Euro. Thank you to you all!
This hotel is breathtakingly beautiful; from the views it offers, its rooms, amazing breakfast and their superbe staff. There is nothing that we could reproach. The staff was welcoming and very detail oriented. They knew we were on our honeymoon and brought us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and flowers to our seafront view room. The staff had constant smiles and always made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast is AMAZING! Served on their rooftop area with magnificent views of mount Etna and the Mediterranean, the food is exquisite. They offer everything anyone could want and more for breakfast. We regret not having dinner at the hotel one night, however, we decided to come back next year so we look forward taste what looks like an amazing menu.
Grazie mille per il meraviglioso acciglio!
