Perfect

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel, the perfect end to our time in Sicily. Thanks to Fabrizio, Luigi and the rest of the staff for their hospitality. We arrived without a booking and were shown the available rooms so that we could choose to our taste. Easy shuttle/leisurely walk into town, excellent views over the town, sea and Mount Etna. When we got back from dinner someone had been in and tidied our room, drawn the curtains, turned on the heating and left a goodnight note, which was a cute touch! Very sad to leave :-(

Spectacular Property

Villa Ducale exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel is gorgeous, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the town and the sea. The view of the coastline is stunning. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff could not have been kinder and more helpful. And our suite was probably one of the nicest hotel accommodations I have ever stayed in, with a huge living room and bathroom and elegant, comfortable furnishings. The hotel is out of the main center of town, but it’s an easy 10 minute walk (down some admittedly steep steps) to all the restaurants and shops. The hotel also has a free shuttle, but we did not use it. I wish we had planned to stay longer.

Wonderful place in Taormina

We came back after 12 years and fell in love again. A perfect place with the most phantastic view, a incredibly friendly stuff, a exquisite breakfast and a formidable dinner. What more could one ask for. The absolute favourite of our three weeks in Sicily. We loved everything. Thank you

Comfortable and private

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Ducale. It feels more like a posh friends house instead of a hotel.
The staff are amazing and ready to help with any request and invisible otherwise
allowing for maximum enjoyment of the property.
Villa Ducale is private, quiet, comfortable and well located for exploring Taormina and the surrounding area on foot. When you’re tired of walking, they provide a shuttle (by reservation only) or it’s easy to take a local Taxi.
We also enjoyed our meals during our short visit -especially the terrific assortment of hot and cold breakfast food and beverage plus spectacular views from the dining space.

Fab 3 nights in every way...

Wonderful views of Mount Etna and sea. A special place for special people.
Wonderful greeting with a welcoming glass of Prosecco, brilliant food ( had dinner 2 nights) and nothing was too much bother for staff.
Shuttle bus worked well - nice to escape bustle of town and retreat to the hotel. Don’t miss canapés ( complimentary ) with Cocktails and afternoon tea ( again complimentary ).
A very special place.
