How to Get There
We rented a two bedroom condo for our family and it was perfect. We had full access to the pools and restaurants and one of the pools was heated. Perfect location, walking distance to many shops and restaurants in the village. We will definitely return!
Went for a drink, stayed for dinner. The place had a nice crowd. It is a large area with the lobby, bar and restaurant all in the one area. We went for a drink, but liked the atmosphere so we stayed for dinner. Food was good and enjoyed the evening.
This is a historic and grand hotel, the accommodations leave you feeling like royalty, my wife and I took a sight seeing tour ourselves of the hotel, every inch and space is historic in nature, we had an ocean balcony view which the hotel gave us an upgrade, the 180 view of the oceanew is breath taking, you can almost reach out your arm and touch the sand, we have been to st Simons on numerous occasions and I am positive there could not be nothing more pristine than the King and Prince.
My wife and I celebrated our 50th anniversary with a stay at the King and Prince. It was a great weekend and the staff and resort could not have been better. We stayed in an ocean side cabana and ate most meals at the resort. Everything was top shelf. We are planning on going back in the future and would recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a luxurious resort.
We stayed at the King and Prince earlier this month. We have stayed at this resort about three times per year for approximately the last five years and the service and the accommodations were excellent usual. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. We have always been treated very well and it's nice to see the same familiar faces year after year. The beach view is awesome and the access to East Beach is easily accessible. If you have a chance try the restaurant located at the KP called Echo. They have great food and they regularly put unique items such as as Bison or Venison on the menu. The pot roast and shrimp and grits are a few of my favorites also. The main pool is heated they also have a children's pool that is great for parents to introduce your little ones to the water. The KP is very family friendly and it can also be a great place for adults to unwind as well. Since we were there on business I didn't have our children with me this trip but they were there in August and all three of my sons love it there and they always have a great time. I don't normally write reviews on my experiences but The King and Prince is worth writing about.
