Wlecome to the hotel where you cannot control temperature
Reviewed 6 days ago

Checked into the hotel at 5pm, alerted desk that it was impossible to control the air conditioning and that the room was freezing. Went to a business dinner where everybody complained about the same problem, came back at 23 to find the room is still freezing but apparently a “company has to intervene now”. Oh, and the sink does not drain

Nice stay in Rotterdam

We were celebrating a special occasion which we mentioned when booking and upon arrival at the hotel for a 3 night stay we were told we had a complimentary room upgrade and when entering we found that they had laid rose petals all over the room and bed, and also had a complimentary bottle of Merlot. This was a wonderful touch. The hotel is lovely, and they really take care on the presentation of the hotel. Check in was smooth, no troubles. They have a lovely bar area in the reception which is quite expensive. Overall we had a lovely stay and would come back to this hotel when visiting Rotterdam again as its in a great location, close to everything you would want to see and right around the corner from the busy streets which come alive at night with bars and restaurants. However i feel i must point out a few things which could have been done better or were not expecting. Bedding wasnt changed in the whole 3 nights and the coffee/teas were not refreshed so we found in the morning there was nothing to make a hot drink with, lastly, we were not informed about this but the hotel adds what they call a service charge onto your bill and when i queried after realising they explained that it was something to do with them being an eco friendly hotel or something which i thought was odd.

Nice hotel and in great location. Its close to Witte Street. I felt that cleaning service was subpar as they didn't change a stained sheets during my entire stay; also the room was freezing; the TV had no English news channels, and the gym was broken. The breakfast was okay--not fresh eggs but made from mixture

Great location

Lovely hotel in a great location, with lots of cafes nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Large room with large double bed, seating area overlooking the main street. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Good sized bathroom. Great breakfast, with a good selection to choose from.
One thing I would point out is they do not accept Visa Debit or Credit cards without the Maestro logo. Maestro has been disposed of in the UK.

Bad room

Was there on business trip, choose the smallest room type. It was noisy (sound keep coming from roof or floor above for 15 seconds every 5 minute) and had a smell of sewage. A collegue of me had the next class of room and this was a really nice big room with no sounds/smells so keep away from the cheapest ones.

Breakfast was good, the bar was nice and the location is perfect.
