Awesome Weekend

My second time staying here . Was welcomed back just like ohana wen we first got there David was glad to see us back . David went out of his way , to go back to our truck to get glasses we left and we were all the way up on the 6th floor.Would recommend the gold floor . Great extras . The room are nice and quite. The grounds are just like a botanical garden .Keisha went way above and beyond to make it a great welcome back for us . Hayato was fast and efficient. Got us our keys and called us when the room was ready. while we enjoyed the pool and the awesome bay. The Hot tub is set a the perfect temperature. (as some other places it is just luke warm ) Dinner at the Hale kai was spot on. steak and fries .I did not see one unhappy team member . Make time to walk up and down the beach just breath taking . On the way home Natasha made it just perfect with a hospitality room . A great big Mahalo Nui to the whole staff .As my brother says that he will not stay any where else besides the Fairmont Orchid.

Amazing resort, even 10 yrs later! Highly recommend photos with Pacific Dream Photography!

We love this resort! We decided to bring our kids to the Fairmont Orchid, where we spent our honeymoon to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We loved it then and it did not disappoint this time around either! Service was 5 star and Natasha at the front desk did everything she could to make our stay amazing. The lagoon is perfect for kids with endless water sports to try out, tons of fish to see, and shallow and calm from the reef break. To commemorate the occasion, we booked a photo session with Pacific Dream Photogprahy. They were great! Easy to book the session and our photographer Loryn was amazing and so talented! She knew all the best spots and was easy going but really enthusiastic and so good with my kids. The turn around on the editing was so fast (avail the next day!) and when it came down to purchasing, she was not pushy at all, which I appreciated. I highly recommend her and the experience. It’s a great way to capture and celebrate an occasion and there’s no better backdrop to do it in!

Great vacation but expected more from a Fairmont property!

We stayed here for one week and had a wonderful time. Great beach, ideal for beginners; nice pool area although pool is small. Nice landscaping. Part of the spa area and also the rooms could do with an update, especially the bathroom. Beds are very comfortable. Good check-in service, but room cleanliness a big issue. Like others, we were also not impressed with the ongoing conferences and functions, although they end at around 10pm, the loud music prevented us form enjoying the room on too many evening during our stay.

Not a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination

Check-in was 3 Star. No recognition of Fairmont/Accor LeClub Silver status - "I don't want your number." That's a WOW! Cleanliness/maintenance issues confirmed first impression. Better choices nearby.

Wonderful stay and great customer service!

We just returned from spending four nights at the Fairmont Orchid and can't speak highly enough of the hotel and its staff. The hotel property is gorgeous - the waterfalls created a great ambiance and the flexibility of the pool or beach was wonderful. And of course, the sunsets were gorgeous. We did have one dinner at Brown's and it was exquisite, but expensive (as we expected).

I did want to call out the customer service. We booked our stay using Chase Points and showed up to check-in and learned that our reservation was cancelled. At this point, I don't know where the miscommunication was but it was a terrible thing to hear your reservation is cancelled, and the hotel is full. Somehow, Chriseth and her manager worked their magic and were able to secure us a room and said they'd figure out the problem on their own. It was just wonderful customer service and while expected at the Fairmont, still well-received! We will be back!
