Classically tropical, with nods to its Mediterranean name, a lounger-dotted pool is at the heart of the resort, surrounded by breezy open walkways and mustard-yellow buildings. Bursts of bougainvillea brighten the manicured lawns, aloe vera plants and stubby palm trees in the gardens, and you’ll catch come-hither glimpses of Grace Bay Beach between the two accommodation buildings.
Bed and Bath
Housed in two mirror-image five-story towers, all 30 suites have full kitchens (with every appliance and utensil imaginable), laundry rooms, living areas and furnished balconies enclosed by mosquito netting. All units have three bedrooms, but can be booked as one-, two- and three-bedroom suites — staff just lock off the bedrooms that aren’t in use. Condo owners have free rein over the decor, so interiors run the design spectrum from dark rattan furniture and citrus accents, to a beachy Miami style in soft pink and sea glass. Common throughout is an open-plan layout, a flood of natural light and a seashore soundtrack. All bedrooms have en suite stone bathrooms, with standalone showers or tubs in the Queen and Twin rooms, and a combo of both in the enormous master bathroom.
There’s no bar or restaurant here (though kitchens can be stocked in advance), and the staff clocks off in the late afternoon, but that’s all part of the appeal for the families and groups who return year after year. Use of the tennis court is shared with newer sister hotel the Venetian, just next door, and the lounger-dotted pool is a kid-friendly warmup to the real star of this show: Grace Bay Beach. Accessed via a palm tree–flanked catwalk, guests can make use of the loungers and small palapa-shaded tables, or just lie out on the white sand.
How to Get There
What a lovely place to stay! We stayed in E503 which is the top floor. The view was spectacular and we loved the screened in porch. We had breakfast there every morning while listening to the waves and sat out there every night. So relaxing 😌 Their beach is great with plenty of beach chairs. We loved the location being at the end of Grace Bay and not crowded at all. The condo was excellent as well and very well maintained. The daily housekeeping was great and we never wanted for anything. They even provided coffee, creamer, and sugar everyday and also laundry and dishwasher detergent to boot. All the staff was so friendly and accommodating ... it all made for a wonderful vacation. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else 😊
Nothing could be lacking in this resort. Each unit has a screened balcony with plenty of room to lounge, and a full kitchen. The mattresses are new and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely interested in our well being. We will be back.
I stayed here in July of 2018. The beach is fairly private, very little walk thru traffic, and the water is incredibly calm. We were in a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom condo with a superb ocean view. It was fantastic! I wish I were having a cocktail on the screened in patio again now! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, they had so many activites and items to meet any needs we could imagine. We paid to have our groceries there before we arrived and it was well worth it. The condo was spotless and met all of our needs. We loved using the community bicycles to ride into town. They really thought of everything! I can’t wait to take my family back for a longer trip.
Stayed here in December of 2018 and loved it! Very private and down at the quiet end of Grace Bay. The room was immaculately clean, the screened in patio was very large and had comfortable chairs and chaise lounges. A delightful place to have a morning coffee and watch the sun rise, read a book in the afternoon, and watch the incredible sunsets in the evenings. The bedrooms had plenty of closet and drawer space, there is laundry equipment with detergent, and the full kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The resort itself is very quiet and there was always room to relax at the pool or on the beach. There are no restaurants or bars here but you can access ones at the next resort over within a 2 minute walk. The Tuscany is perfect for couples or families and it's great to have access to two additional rooms if bringing extra people along for your vacation. The only things we thought were missing were extra shelf space in the shower and a makeup mirror.... which are pretty small additions to this incredible stay! We would definitely stay here again.
We were fortunate to know in advance to stop at the grocery store (Graceway IGA) to get items so we could have breakfast and lunches in our suite as there is only a very small ( necessities) little shop within close walking distance to the resort.
A big thank you to the staff for a wonderful and relaxing stay!
We stayed here for one week. The condo was very spacious & clean with a full kitchen & washer/dryer in unit (detergent and dryer sheets provided). We took advantage of the groceries in unit service - for small fee $50 I believe, we just emailed a grocery list ahead of time & everything was in our unit when we arrived. It was such a relief to just walk in and be able to enjoy without worrying about grocery shopping. The oceanfront view was amazing! There was plenty of room on the patio with a table, chairs & two loungers to hang out and listen to the waves. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean and well maintained. The beach was beautiful, of course and there were always plenty of chairs available. Beach towels were provided in unit and refreshed every day by housekeeping, which did a fantastic job all week! There is not a restaurant onsite, but we used the Cabana restaurant next door (very short walk through property or on beach) for breakfast and lunch. There were several tasty options! There is a person from Cabana who will walk the beach in front of the Tuscany to take drink/food orders also. We were allowed to start a tab on our first day, give name, room number, sign on subsequent orders & settle on departure day which was very convenient. We were also able to walk to the Opus restaurant next door for dinner. We were lucky enough to catch some blue wahoo on a deep sea fishing trip & the chef at Opus did a great job preparing the fish three different ways for us to try. They were all really good & his effort was much appreciated! The staff at the Tuscany were all very friendly & helpful! They helped us with dinner, massage & parasailing reservations, with bicycles when we wanted to go in town to shop, and put us in contact with a local tennis pro for lessons for our son. Thank you to Shawnemae, Shaquell, Terria, Coretta & Reynaldo! Also, huge shout out to Rosa, a super sweet lady, who provided me with two of the best massages I’ve ever had! We greatly enjoyed our time at the Tuscany and hope to return soon!
