How to Get There
Over-rated, service with a grumble is all that you'll find here at Beaches of Turks and Caicos. It's 45 minutes wait everywhere for everything. Want lunch? 45 mins....Dinner? 45 mins! Water sports? Book at least a day in advance. Want resort activities, book several days in advance! The list of waiting and poor disgruntled services is the theme at this resort. The resort is BEAUTIFUL but besides for the beautiful pristinely clear water, that's all you'll get.
Nothing bad to say about this place. We travelled 11 hours from London via Antigua to the beautiful island of Turks and Caicos to stay at the Beaches resort and it didn't fail to deliver the most magical family holiday! We travelled as a couple with our 18 month old daughter and were blown away by the facilities and entertainment available at this resort. Our daughter loved camp sesame, the team there are wonderful and I had no hesitations about leaving my daughter in their capable hands. My daughter (and my husband and I) loved the sesame street show and the evening performances, it's so lovely to go somewhere where any age can join in and have fun together. The staff were always polite and happy making us feel so welcome. We stayed in the Caribbean village, which yes could seem dated, but offers a brilliant and authentic stay and was personally my favourite of the villages.
Anyone from the UK with kids reading this and contemplating if it's worth it (money and flight time) let me tell you it 100% is! Enjoy
Recently visited Beaches Turks and Caicos for a family vacation and we had a nice time. The resort is beautiful and has lots of amenities for any family to partake in. The mosquitoes were in abundance so repellent was a must. Your child will love all the Sesame Street character activities. The beach water is gorgeous but the beach itself can be windy at times. The highlight of our trip was how wonderful the resort staff treated our family. Pamela and Nickello @ Reflections made our daily breakfast dinning experience amazing, always service with a smile. Wilson @ Reflections fed us well with his fantastic omelettes. Maxine @ Camp Sesame did an wonderful job keeping the children engaged. Orane give us a wonderful tour of the resort on our train ride. On our way to departure Anna stopped what she was doing to escort us to right area to catch our shuttle to the airport. We received exceptional service up until we left the resort. Very family friendly resort!!!
We visited November 30th thru December 8th. Weather was fantastic, the resort wasn’t packed nor empty a perfect amount of people. Never had issues getting beach chairs or chairs by the pool, we actually never sat in either we spent most of the time in the water. The only thing I did not like was how close the beach umbrellas and cabanas are, I like some space. So convenient to walk right up from the beach to get drinks or a snack. Food was pretty good, buffets kinda basic. Barefoot by the beach was one of our favorites, and of course the Jerk Shack, no words for how good this place was. We stayed in the Parrot Cay Villa room 611 and it was perfect!!! Loved our balcony it was huge and the room was modern. The glass bottom boat is a must, saw some cool things. The shows were entertaining enough, we didn’t go every night. Drinks were certainly plentiful and delicious 😋. We liked the French Village pool, it was less crowded and less older children. We had a great time and would love to go back again.
Caicos resort vilges are nice place to stay and one can really feel comfortable as being back at home. BBQ is there as well so one can make An Easy diner at home as the restaurants are Rather expensive
