How to Get There
Rented a 3BR Villa from VRBO. Would highly recommend staying here. The resort is peaceful, not overcrowded like the waterpark area. The staff was very friendly, great location, everything was in walking distance.
Stayed first week of July on a last minute booking. We were able to use our timeshare points and it was excellent value (55K for 9 nights). There are beautiful walkways within the resort and shuttle service between the hotels with Atlantis. Food at most of the restaurants is outrageously priced even compared to Hawaii. Hotel staff were freindly! Timeshare staff were wonderful! If going grocery shopping and you can walk about 40-50 minutes round-trip then check out Super Value across the bridge, rather than taking the expensive hotel shuttle bus to their chosen shopping centre. Be prepared to spend $23+VAT for internet, as there is no free wi-fi, other than using the hotels computers, which was frustrating. I would come back to the resort, but again would be prepare to cook for ourselves. The bus is also a good alternative to getting around in Nassau.
Atlantis is a great vacation for a family with varying age ranges. There are multiple places for relaxing around pools/ beaches. The water activities are a blast, however on cruise ship days, Atlantis is super crowded! The food prices are too high for a family....also sometimes not good tasting.
we have been going to Harborside for 18 years, normally everything is wonderful, this last visit 2 main issues, Air Conditioning was not cooling properly had to change rooms twice and issue was never resolved.
They have a new room key card system, had to replace my cards 3 times before they finally starting working.
other than that, the property is fantastic and the overall resort of Atlantis is Awesome.
We stayed in this tower because we were a big family and wanted to use the kitchen and BBQ area but as we checked in we were informed there were no BBQ's and no ovens. Just a stove top and everything we wanted from extra towels to soap had a price. Nothing was free. Then the Microwave did not work and the toilet was clogged. They had a vey small gift shop on property and 1 restaurant that was closed more then open and if you were desperate to eat in it then it took an hour to order and another hour to get your food.
