Love love love.... Only Stay Here

I was recently here for convention for 4 days and it was one of the best hotel experiences. From the moment I checked in, Lars, was warm friendly and eager to ensure we well taken care of. He explained all the amenities, provided us a map, and ensure we had all we needed. In the Fuel, coffee shop, Kerly remembered me every visit and was so warm. Sabrina pool side, went above and beyond to provide us the most exceptional service. This is the standard that all hotels should aspire too, This is the level of customer service, where you remember their names, because they genuinely care about you as a guest. BEST HOTEL EVER.

This is a Disney hotel?

As a frequent Disney traveler, I’m used to certain standards that this resort clearly fails to meet.

1. Whatever they are using to clean these rooms is horrible. My eyes are burning.

2. Look at the picture of the carpet! So gross!

Customer service here whole polite, was unhelpful.

For once, i can’t wait to leave Disneyland.

Terrible all around: worn, dirty and overpriced.

I was booked in the dolphin because of a conference. Despite the convenience I would choose to stay somewhere else if it returned there.

The hotel was simply run down. From the construction going on in the lobby continuing to the worn carpet in the haps to the half clogged shower head in my room it was a mess all around.

First the amenities: there really aren't any. There are a few restaurants that want you to think they're upscale, but they're not. The coffee place in the lobby, again, puts on the pretense of quality but was fast food quality across the board (think McDonald's or Sheetz). The pool isn't easily accessible and that's about it.

Next, the rooms: garbage. Their design is dated and nothing to get excited about but every detail I noticed was aged, worn or broken. My comforter had some dirty spots and was actually threadbare. The shower head was half clogged and the shelf that held soaps and shampoo was falling off the wall. There was also an inexplicable sound coming from the toilet and the walls. Housekeeping seemed to have no attention to detail either. Trash was left in the room, toiletries were partially refilled and I found quite a few hairs hanging around. Even the hanger bar was weak: adding a normal amount of stuff bowed it to the point I was worried about it breaking.

Between those two places were the hallways. They weren't scary but they were worn. The pattern in the carpet was worn off to the point it disappeared. Unreal.

I've stayed at really nice hotels. I've stayed at really cheap hotels. This one most definitely reminded me of the latter while charging me like the former.

I can think of no reason, at all, to ever stay here.
