How to Get There
We stayed here with another couple to take advantage of the early access and fast passes that come with staying on site. I have stayed at Portofino bay and the Hard rock hotel in the past. This is the least expensive of the three and there are reasons why, however we were quite happy with the visit. Service was really friendly and it was less crowded as the experience in the other hotels. What do you give up? The hotel is just a tad farther to walk and it is probably not quite as upscale as the others. the pool is a bit more modest but we enjoyed it. If you are looking to save a little money you wont be disappointed. The Sushi lounge was surprisingly affordable and the quality was very good as well. we did have an issue with hot water being a little short. we probably could have complained and I am sure they would have moved us, but it was not a big deal to us.
I took my family to universal for the weekend and decided to stay at the royal Pacific. I was very impressed from the moment I walked in until I left. I will definitely return. The beds were comfortable , greeted .at the front door with flower leis ...and plumeria scent. The restaurant Jake's all American grill and bar was pleasant and great music.
Stayed for 1 week at club level. No brainier on this resort - it's beautifully decorated with vibrant tropical feel and even smells wonderful in all the spaces, like orchids which are placed throughout the hotel.
Wonderful time, even on the 'cooler' days. Staff were great. Food was great. Could not get enough of Harry Potter sights, sounds, and activities (and we are in the over 60 age group). Nice (and fun) to experience everything without the kids.
Good benefit for Universal Express unlimited ride access.Easy to access to Universal Stuidos and Citywalk! All staffs are very friendly and kind.Baggage storage service was so convenient as well. :-)
