How to Get There
My husband and I stayed here at our wedding night. The room was great. The whole staff was amazing. It was a very relaxing stay. I would definitely come back and stay here any chance that we can. Highly recommended.
My wife and I are recreational golfers, albeit I'm shamelessly more serious than she is and she yet is my favorite golf partner. We were looking for a golf school that could address both of our golf needs at the appropriate levels and keep us duly engaged. After an online search , we decided on Golf Academy at the Grand Cypress. We are happy we did. The two day golf school was excellent way for us to hone our games and remain passionate about golf with our overwhelming us physically. Our golf instructors were Todd M and Harry S. both excellent. Todd was passionate, energetic, infectiously enthusiastic and knowledgeable . He was able to convey his knowledge to us and instill us with reassurance !! Harry was sagacious, cerebral and avuncular; a style married perfectly to his partner Todd. We had one other "student " with us so it was a very personalized academy . The three nine hole course and the one 18 hole course were more than challenge as we implemented our new knowledge on the course.
We are so glad we went!!!!! My wife and I heartily endorse this golf academy and its two golf instructors and facility. When searching for golf school , check out the golf school at Grand Cypress. two thumbs up !!!
having stayed at the Villas several times, each visit and staff and facilities are consistently an enjoyable experience. the location is well situated and convenient to all and is also a nice environment for families if the case.
We stayed in one of the Villas backing to the golf course. We had a separate bedroom, living and dining and large kitchen. The entire rear of the Villa faced the golf course, with french doors that opened to a rear patio. We also had two front entrances, one opened to a private front patio. Plenty of outdoor and indoor spaces to relax. We walked the lovely grounds every day. They have a nice club house with great food and drinks, and also of course a nice retail area.
Stayed at the Villas of Grand Cypress for 7 nights on a recent family trip to do the parks in Orlando. After 3 nights at The Hard Rock Hotel for Universal we were all a bit frazzled and within a few hours of checking in to the Villas we knew this was exactly what we needed.
The 3 bed villas was were large and clean with all 3 bedrooms and bathrooms spacious and well appointed. The cleaning and turn down service was exemplary with the cleaner even loading and unloading the dishwasher.
The pool was fairly large with games for kids and a bar for adults. Never busy and always relaxing we tried to spend time here whenever possible. You can get a free shuttle to the Hyatt Regency which has a larger pool with water slide, but with that you also get more people and noise.
Ate at the clubhouse once for breakfast and dinner and food was nice and reasonably priced.
I even managed a few hours on the 3 hole practice course, with clubs and cart provided FOC. This was an excellent set up and easy way to get some golf in for beginners.
All in all the Villas of Grand Cypress were a wonderful place to base ourselves for doing Disney and I would certainly return, I just wouldn't bother with the Disney part next time......Magic Kingdom? What a let down.
