How to Get There
I can't say enough about this hotel. The staff, restaurants and pool were fantastic.
Dinner was great and very good and had a great waiter. The pool is very clean and roomy. The pool staff is fantastic and prompt when you need them. Bar food st the pool is good too. Dont forget to drink. Oh. Watch your bar tab. Ouch
2nd time staying at this resort. Upon check in we were offered upgrade to governers suite which was perfect for the 4 of us..my daughter had her own bathroom! We had a huge balcony..perfect for evening cocktails. Every associate I spoke with was so friendly. Our server even acknowledged my Marriott status and thanked us for being members. Will be back for a longer stay.
I arrived on Wednesday morning. I went to the wrong desk, and met two ladies that were VERY hospitable and made me feel VERY welcomed. We had a nice chat before going over to Zach, at the front desk. Again, smiling, hospitable, friendly and welcoming! These folks started my time here off on the right foot. I knew I chose the right place for my stay. From that point forward everyone and everything was perfect. My room was clean, the hotel was clean. Such a beautiful place. I would stay again and again!
Just got back from a three-day convention that went off like clockwork. The hotel is exactly what one wants for a conference – reasonably convenient to the airport, multiple bar/restaurants on site (pool bar!), close to major attractions (but not so close as to temp attendees to walk out of presentations to go elsewhere). There are also multiple restaurant options, a short Lyft/Uber/Cab/Trolley ride away. The food/drink options on-site are pricey, but I found the meals at the main onsite restaurant to be perfectly suitable for what I can only assume is an industrial scale kitchen and I do enjoy a well-stocked breakfast buffet. My room was on the inside facing the enclosed courtyard but was comfortable with a decent desk/table, and good internet speed, to get last-minute work done. The staff was never rude or disrespectful, but my weak Spanish did make conversation with one difficult. Check-in/check-out was a breeze.
This hotel is very nice. The center section is very impressive. The room was very nice and the beds are comfy. The breakfast I had at the tradewinds was the buffet which was very expensive (28$) but the ala carte menu was also expensive so I opted for the buffet. I also think the resort fee is a ripoff and completely predatory. I was there for a convention and never left the hotel.
