How to Get There
This is a top class hotel with no real room service anymore. They will deliver pizza and sandwiches from their self serve cafeteria - but forget a real breakfast or carafe of coffee or other real room service you would expect from a nicer class (or most hotels) hotel. I've been here several times in the last few years and although most staff is friendly -there have definitely been some of the worst travel experiences here. The property is lovely but if you want a classy hotel - not here, this is a very child centric location.
Room overpriced. Bathroom grout was disgusting previous mold and work just covered up with more grout over old grout and mold, toilet cracked and ran all night, refrigerator had large block of ice and didn't work, lip prints all over sliders, hairs in towels, hand prints on picture in bathroom, never again!!!!!!!
It’s only six months into the year and I have been here three times already, that’s how much I have enjoyed this property. Personally I love big resorts because I like a big pool, restaurant options, and space to spread out. This one hits all the mark with of course friendly service from the staff. What kept me coming back is Megan from the VIP Hospitality team. As a titanium member I had suite night awards to use. I used it twice and both times the requests were honored. I got nice upgrades to suites. When at the resort, the staff from the check in desks to the restaurants to the pool were mostly great. It’s a big resort so though rare you will run into some staff whose customer skills are not up to par but the resort management always dealt with these small incidents swiftly and satisfactory. Overall a beautiful resort with great service and accommodations. Can’t wait to return!
The property is beautiful and my room was clean. Fitness center is great. Props to the front desk, housekeeping and the Italian restaurant for great customer service.
Areas where customer service was bad: (1) valet; (2) pool; (3) pool grill; and (4) lobby bar. Employees in these areas are clearly unhappy, borderline rude and are not being managed to at least fake it. Waiters and bartenders loaf and don't understand importance of hustling and being friendly. Someone needs to explain to them that they are losing tips by acting like that.
AC in room was weird. Cool wouldn't run when thermostat said it was 65, but it was more like 72. Not even close to 65. Put in a request at front desk to fix. They didn't fix and I never heard back on it.
Had to wake valets up to retrieve car at 4:30 a.m. I don't care if they are asleep, but wake up and get my vehicle. And don't be passive aggressive and block me from leaving by standing in front of car because I didn't tip you. When I have to wake you up and it takes 25 minutes for my car with no one else waiting, you aren't getting a tip.
Food and beverage management is poor except for the Italian restaurant. Overall hotel and resort management also lacking, given that there was so much bad service in so many different areas over a 5 night period.
I would avoid this property unless attending a conference here. There are many other options in the area.
2400 rooms is good news and bad news. Lots of people tons of meetings always going on. But their service is excellent, very clean and well maintained. Very large and nice rooms
. Lots of restaurants. Plenty of parking, but like all resort hotels pricey, valet can cost you $39.00 self park about $25. Per day. Management is on top of this place and if you want to have meetings they will work with you. While they get a bus load of people every day, property is not rundown.
Overall a nice visit
