Return Trip for Business
Reviewed 4 hours ago

Just returned from a short trip to sunny Orlando for business. As a loyal Marriott member I wanted to come back to the World Center. Several years ago I brought my wife and daughter to this resort because of the proximity to Disney World. Many good restaurant options and I decided to enjoy the weather and eat by the pool two nights. Great drinks and Lobster Roll. At 9 pm they have a nice light show by the pool as well. My room was very clean and had a beautiful view from my large deck. Special thanks to the team of professionals who helped contribute to my wonderful stay. Will be back with my family.

Avoid the Italian restaurant

We met family at the hotel for an Italian dinner. We were terribly disappointed. Chicken Marsala was horrible, covered in a sauce that looked like it was brown glue. The Puttanesca was basically inedible. If you feel the need to go stick to the appetizers, they at least were not horrible.

Rooms are old and have not see updating in years.

I have been to this hotel for the past 3 years and also in year previose for conventions and nothing has been upgraded or changed in years. The rooms are old and in need of updating. The Gym is the same.

Restaurant on site are ok but I wouldn't eat there as a first choice.

Everything on site is overpriced including the parking and its like they try to milk every cent out of you everywhere you turn.

Not to mention the hidden "resort fee" lol.. What a joke.

Don’t book if you’d like to sleep

Checked in on a Monday and out on a Thursday. Got a nice “room with a view of the pool”. Too bad they didn’t mention that the pool bar blasts music until 10, there is a laser light show at around 11:00 complete with someone screaming into a megaphone, and the pool bar stays open with rude, screaming guests until 2:00 AM. Bottom line, unless you are in your 20’s, or in a mid-life crisis using business travel as a way to re-live your teenage legacy of drunken idiocy, stay somewhere more respectable to business travelers who have to wake up at 5:30-6:00 AM to start a long day (without a hangover and 2 hours of sleep like the rest of the guests at this hotel).

Great hotel.

Stayed at Sabal palms. Loved the rooms. Spacious, updated. Absolutely love the pool at the main Marriott in the property-kids loved the water slides. Nice running path too (outside). Quick stay so didn’t get to try the restaurants. Will definitely go back!
