How to Get There
We had a great stay. The rooms are very clean and the beds are very nice to sleep in. Even had a small game room for the kids and the associates are all very nice. Hoping to go back soon. Love getting the warm cookies as well.
This was perfect for us. The location is walking distance (like an easy half mile walk) to Universal Studios. The hotel also has a free shuttle (bus). Everything you want is on the property. They have an amazing fitness center, a Starbucks, a fire pit, a big pool and whirlpool. The breakfast buffet has yummy omelettes, but it is pricey ($22.99 per person). There are also other places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. We loved Miller's Ale House for dinner (about a block walk). Friendly and helpful staff, and if anything isn't perfect, they will make it right!
Nothing to rave about here and nothing to complain about either. The room was bland. Bathroom amenities minimal. Had to search for glasses which were by the ice bucket but not in the bathroom where they usually are. The room did not have a room service menu and the room service operator promised she would have housekeeping send one. they didn't. When I dropped my phone I had the opportunity to visit between the center console and the bed. Left over bottle cap and crumpled paper. I may be jaded because Marriott/Starwood is my brand of choice but this confirms why I don't like Hilton properties all that much.
The room was nice and clean, and so was the hotel. I only had a problem with parking. It’s very close to the park, right across the street but I would still drive to the park because it’s a long walk once you enter. Friday’s is right across the street if you want something to eat.
I have just spent 3 nights at this location for a work related conference. The building and rooms are very nice, the staff has been helpful, and the food delicious. The hotel is within walking distance to Universal parks and City Walk.
