How to Get There
Just got back from a 2 night stay with my family to visit the Universal parks. After checking in, we saw that the soap and shampoo in the room included an ingredient that my daughter was allergic too. We asked at the Front Desk if they possibly had any alternatives in Housekeeping. Front Office Manager Brian Lopez came out to help resolve the situation. While Housekeeping did not have any alternative options without the allergic ingredient, Brian took us over to the lobby gift shop where they had a nice variety of soaps and shampoos to choose from (amongst their wide variety of well stocked merchandise). We selected two small items and Brian said that they were on the house so we could enjoy our stay without any worries. He really went above and beyond to make this small problem right for us. THANK YOU BRIAN!
The front desk receptionist were very helpful! When I arrived I had just minutes to be prepared for a business meeting. The receptionist got my room key and settle a concern with my reservation immediately. I also earned extra reward points while there!
I stayed 4 nights for a business convention at the hotel. The service, grounds, and conference area were all very good. However, the room I stayed in was showing it's age. Other than carpet, paint and a granite countertop in the bathroom, it appears the room hadn't had major work since the 1980's. Very clean room, however, for what we were charged money should be reinvested in updating rooms.
