In summer 2014 the B Resort & Spa opened its doors in Orlando, showcasing 394 guestrooms and suites bathed in a blue, gray and white palette. Every room is fitted with beds exclusively designed by Simmons, and if you’re seeking upscale accommodations near the action, you can’t get any closer: It’s actually in Walt Disney World Resort. Unwind in the spa and salon, which uses natural botanically derived products in body and hair treatments, or sample items from the spa dining menu, such as organic smoothies, sandwiches and salads. The American Q restaurant and bar features a partial dinner buffet and several types of barbecue, ranging from Carolina to Kansas City — carved right at your table. In addition, the bar next to the zero-entry pool serves “anytime” snacks such as shrimp tacos, ceviche and burgers. Four tennis courts and a kids club round out the activity list at the hotel, and of course there’s a free shuttle to transport guests to any Walt Disney World theme park.
In the Area
Throw a rock from the hotel and it will land in a Disney park or attraction, the closest being Downtown Disney, where the lights and glamour sparkle late into the night. Visitors will find a plethora of family-friendly restaurants, the world’s largest Disney store, a 30-lane bowling alley, live music, virtual reality games and endless entertainment in this vast city. Disney’s Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom theme parks are just a few in the immediate vicinity of B Resort & Spa. The Orlando area is teeming with unique (and educational) attractions, including the Gatorland animal park and the Kennedy Space Center (in Cape Canaveral). For an elegant night out within Walt Disney World Resort, Victoria & Albert’s serves highest-quality regional selections from across the globe; or just six miles from the hotel is Chatham’s Place Restaurant, where menu items range from filet mignon to Florida grouper.
How to Get There
Chose this hotel for 2 nights prior to a Disney resort vacation. Second stay and it was a disappointment. Bathroom was clean, nice shower. Pull out couch sheets in our daughter's room were stained and Housekeeping did rectify. Noticed splattered spots on TV screen, stains on curtains. The piped in fragrance in lobby is overpowering and not inviting at all. Appreciated cold water upon entry to lobby. Bedding was very nice and comfortable. Staff were superb. Kudos to them and management who finds them. Cafe coffee was very good (I think Joffrey) and also a Keurig in room. Good AC and close to Disney Springs. More attention to detail and this hotel could be much better and in line with the great staff.
The pics online made this place appear modern and clean. We arrived at around 12am exhausted. The finishes are cheap. Our bathroom had pee drops around the toilet. The sink is leaking. We are too tired to move out tonight and have asked front desk to be moved in the morning--which they agreed. The front desk person was very friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping here needs help. This is no 4 star spa.
The girl that works the front desk named Zaae was amazing! She went above and beyond to make our stay extra special and was wonderful and pleasant beyond words! The room was very nice and clean and we loved the pool and restaurant. Loved it!!! I will highly recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family anytime they come stay In Orlando. Thanks so much guys.
