How to Get There
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in January 2019 and were in room #10-01. The room and the balcony would be great for honeymooners. The large bath is in a corner at the foot of the bed and would be a nice one to share but, at our age, we would have risked the maid finding us cold and wet in the morning, because it was very deep.
The room was a good size and we slept well, except for the chiming of the cathedral's clock every hour and then some.
The lighting in the room was dreadful, especially in the bathroom. The toilet was a low one, which is OK if your knees are good, but if you're used to a high one you might need a hand getting off it.
The front desk staff and the dining-room staff were very efficient and friendly.
The dining-room, which has nice decor for the most part, is equipped with four TVs that are constantly on and loud music. The doors and windows are kept open and we were very cold when we ate there.
This visit was by far one of the most pleasant stays I've had in Morelia. The service, modern décor and eatery were superb. The representatives were very knowledgeable about all aspects of Morelia. This is an excellent property right in the Historic Centre of Morelia.
Stayed there for three nights and not once slept despite the ear plugs that were offered to us. Beautiful view but definately would NEVER stay in that room ever again. Travellers should be aware of what they should expect. There are much better options in Morelia for that price.
You may think this priviliged location is an advantage. They featured some of the most beautiful rooms around and you have the cathedral in front of you
But... noise outside is an aggressive way of making you uncomfortable
Goes on to 2 am on a Saturday and starts 6:00 on a Sunday!!
You basically have a choice
Enjoy the view or sleep
After 3 nights I am tired of no sleep
I wish they buy glass that blocks noise- otherwise I would never return
With the price you pay you deserve to sleep!!
Nice front desk
Very nice room and bath
Nice quiet atmosphere
They will take care of and park your car, a big deal if staying in a hotel in the center and square area
Nice restaurant and bar
