How to Get There
Amazing service from all the staff, especially Daniel. Extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were happy and comfortable by the pool.
The hotel is in a beautiful location and 2min walk to the beach through the hotel.
This is our second year at Marco Beach Ocean resort. We came and celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday and our 18th wedding anniversary with our two teen boys. We came over memorial day weekend, which was much more crowded than last year in early May. It really didn’t seem to bother us at all.
We started our trip by landing in early afternoon, we had some time to spend before checking in, so we had lunch at CJ’s which is just a few miles from the hotel. It sits in the harbor and it’s a great outdoor place with great food! Then went to Publix across the street for breakfast and snack essentials.
We checked into our two bedroom suite on the sixth floor. We didn’t really have an ocean view, but we did have the view beautiful gardens and it was pretty private. Last year we were able to get a room on the eighth floor I believe and the views were spectacular. We immediately hit the beach and there were plenty of chairs that afternoon. We ended up ordering room service that evening because we were tired from our trip. This is the first time we’ve done that. The food was excellent!
Our second day there was a beach day all day. Plenty of chairs and towels, the water was beautiful. We rented a paddleboard‘s right there on the beach and spent a lot of time in the water with our kids.
Our second day we headed to Rose marina and rented a pontoon boat for the day. We used Beach Bums for chair and umbrella rental. They met us at the dock with chairs and umbrellas and loaded them into our boat. We spent the day on the water and found a couple of secluded sandbars to hang out with. So glad we got the rentals! The concierge made arrangements at Sal e Pepe for a wonderful anniversary dinner at the hotel for us. We had a beautiful view of the sunset and the food was amazing! Service was a little slow, but we really didn’t mind.
Our third day was another beach day! Can you imagine? A lot of people had left from the holiday weekend so it was less crowded. This is my husband‘s birthday and we were surprised with a bottle of wine delivered to our room from the hotel!
Our last day we managed to get a little beach time in before heading to the airport.
The service at this hotel is impeccable. From the moment we get out of our car we are met with a friendly face. Car valets are excellent for making recommendations to local sites and restaurants. Warm friendly faces greet us in the lobby each time we’re there.
