How to Get There
Used our points via RCI to get a 4 bedroom. Had 2 families of 4 traveling, so 4 adults and 4 kids. The space was great. Everyone loved having their own room. Location was good. (I had really wanted a Disney property, but sadly those were unavailable)
- We didn't get harassed by any sales people so that was great.
- There was a small theater where you can watch movies.
- Pool was good. There was a shallow section all around the pool, which was good for our kids.
- the patio was screened in. that was great.
Negatives (but wouldn't deter me from staying there again):
- the shower in the one of the main masters was poorly designed (you got wet just turning it out)
- No individual seasoning packets (i only mention this because our timeshare offers these, and i really like it.)
- The living room didn't really provide a lot of sitting space. there was a couch then chairs. Not super comfy, but again, not a deal breaker
The gate at the entrance makes you feel like you are entering a luxurious getway. The unit was elegant and very spacious with a great view of large pond in the back. The two larger bedrooms both had a jacuzzi. Nicest gold crown unit we have ever stayed in over the past 20 years. The living room furniture was nice looking, but uncomfortable. Appliances were stainless steel and overall “good” in comparison to the really nice unit. Pool area, game room were both nice. Has a movie theater which we did not check out. Wished they had water activities like the resort across the way did (you would think they would have worked something out with the other resort as we are sure that is a fee based activity?).
We stayed here for one night as our last stop touring the State of Florida. It was off the beaten path but not far from all the attractions of Orlando. It provided a quiet sanctuary for my family of six after a crazy week of travel and activities. The room was large and accommodated our entire family without feeling cramped. It was clean and provided all kitchen amenities. The lobby is true sight to behold as it the wall to wall windows provide a preview of the pool area. We loved staying here.
