Really gone downhill, cheese paper sandwich?
Reviewed 23 hours ago

For what you pay, I was really disappointed this trip. The shuttle that picks up at Disney was 40 mins late so we froze until we finally paid a taxi to take us back to the hotel. Housekeeping started knocking in or door at 8:30am and then proceeded to be as good as humanly possible while cleaning the room next door. Oh, and at the crappy wreakers sports bar I ordered a turkey panini that has the wax paper cheese divider on it. Biting into that was great, and we were told that the manager couldn't come to the table to address it. BTW, if you're a party of 6 it more, expect a nice 'large party' fee added to your bill. We had 6 adults and 2 kids... The hotel only refunded the taxi but really, the place was a disappointment. The fireplace on the lawn didn't even get hot enough to enjoy in these rare chilly days we get in FL. They need to step it up and do better at correcting where they fall short.

Nice stay, beautiful Christmas decorations

Came for business meetings and stayed an extra day. This is a beautiful hotel that is well maintained. front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Note there is a $22 per day resort fee that allows access to the gym, wifi, water park and a couple of bottles of water per day. I believe there is also some complimentary dry cleaning but we did not take advantage of that. There are a few different restaurants on property, but as you would expect, they are overpriced but convenient. I will say, that the food we were served as part of our group was very good for mass feeding. this is no small feat. There is an adult only pool which is nice and a family pool with giant slides and other play features for the kids and kids at heart. (yes, I did go down the giant slide!) Two Starbucks locations and some convenience stores and other shopping is also available. There is also a free shuttle to Disney if you like. All in all a great stay and I would highly recommend.

Stayed for a convention

I have stayed here a few times for a work convention.
Pro's:
Cool environment
Rooms nice and big
Atrium balcony very cool
Bathrooms nice and big
most employees we passed always greeted us first with a hello or good morning ,etc
Front desk very nice and helpful
Adult pool amazing and they do enforce the adult only!!
Sand bar restaurant we had lunch at twice , great service
room service for beer at 1 am was on the money with quickness
Hotel is spot less
Cons;
oh man so expensive to eat or drink there!
Moors restaurant was awful. 5 employees standing by the host station. I got interviewed with 5 questions before getting seated. Then we waited 12 minutes for someone to come over and greet us and ask for a drink order. Another 6 minutes to bring soda's another 7 minutes for the two beers. Place was not busy. Maybe 5 tables with customers and bar was empty. The food- one of the burgers that was supposed to be plain came out loaded with everything on it. Comes back 3 minutes later and all they did was scrape it. The mayo was on the bottom and bacon chunks still left on. Thats gross. The waitress was in i don't care mode, just saying Im not having a good day. The manager did come over and took the burger off the bill.
- Breakfast in the hotel really is not a option. Your choice is $28 breakfast buffet which is insane for breakfast. Or the coffee shop, I asked for a bagel with just sausage on it. She said no no no. They are pre made, so then i asked for a bagel with an order of sausage on the side. She said no no no. I guess they only send enough sausage to go with the premade sandwiches. Stupid. So a buttered bagel and diet coke was $10.
-The bathrooms at Moors were disgusting.
-Would have liked a less expensive option to the airport.
All in all decent place, probably would not stay here for a vacation or if I had to pay for the rooms with my own money.

The restaurant on the boat

Nice ambience to the place however it was so cold we kept our coats on the menu was very limited and the food at best was average while well over priced.

The Ice show is small however worth a visit if you're in town, bit expensive and parking at $22 is outrageous, go by uber I am sure it would cost less.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
Reviewed 3 days ago

We planned what was supposed to be a relaxing kick-off to the Christmas month. Booked our suite months in advance and bought the platinum package for all the ICE and Alpine Village entertainment options. We were so excited to share this experience with our children. After checking in, our luggage was ‘lost’ for over an hour so no baby bottles, diaper bags etc which should have been at our room within 20-25 min. We paid for an upgraded suite ($800 per night) and were put next to an elevator with the sounds of the elevators going up and down all night so needless to say the children had a hard time sleeping with all those ‘scary’ noises. Lastly, we paid for valet and the process was the worst I have ever experienced. It took an hour to return the car as they do not have a well thought process. Absolutely ridiculous and a total waste of time.

I am a Platinum Elite Marriott member and this was by far the worst experience ever!!
