Great base for golf/tennis trip

Used hotel as hub for four days of golf, tennis, and sun. Hotel was very comfortable, centrally located and offered everything we needed. Especially liked the music and adult activities in the lobby, plus all the fun of the easy access beach!

Great family vacation

Went to Hilton head for a family vacation. It was a very clean and friendly resort. Beach was beautiful, pool area was nice as well. My nieces and nephews loved feeding the turtles. Definitely stay here again.

"Perfect resort for all travelers!"

My family and I stayed at Sonesta for one night. We found out about it online after we had booked a stay at another resort on Hilton Head Island. We wanted to try it out based on the photos and reviews. It did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived on the property, they treated us like royalty. After checking in at the front desk, Christine texted me to see if we liked our room. She also told me to let her know if there was anything she could do for us during our stay. We were able to walk to the beach. The resort had a couple of pools and a hot tub. It also had pool cabanas.

My wife and I had drinks and an appetizer at Bayley's Bar. Our waitress, Felicia, was amazing! She recommended some good drinks and gave us her opinion about the some of the food menu items. She was very professional and accommodating. Her service was second to none. They have 3 restaurants on site (2 bars and 1 sit down restaurant), all of which are located near the pool.

On the morning of checkout, I had planned to go out and get breakfast for my family. When I got to the lobby, I noticed people getting breakfast at Bayley's Bar. I decided to do the same. They had something for everyone in my family. Not having to leave the resort was a huge plus for me. I wanted to enjoy the resort as much as possible. Coming from Atlanta where you deal with traffic 24/7, the last thing that I wanted to do was drive. I highly recommend staying at Sonesta Resort if you plan to visit Hilton Head. It was definitely worth the money. We plan to stay here again when we go back to Hilton Head.

Great vacation with Family

Beautiful, clean resort. Pool well kept. Ample towels provided. There were seats always available poolside. Beach is just a walk through the outdoor pool area. Short drive to restaurants and shopping. Unfortunately none walking distance to resort. We had lunch by the pool a few times. My daughter loved the chicken tenders and my brother in law said burger was delicious. Bartenders/pool waitresses were attentive and courteous. We did have a cooler w juice boxes and water in for the kids that we were told we can not have. Kinda disappointing because my one sister has 4 little ones. Bar refreshments can get pricey. The turtle pond was a hit with my nieces and nephews. You can feed turtles at 1230 daily. They loved it.

Room was good. Bed and pillows comfy. Water pressure not great in shower. Outdoor balcony small. Barely fits 2 chairs. We were by the pool and beach whole time so didn't really matter to us. We noticed on our last full day some ants in our room. We did mention it on check out. Average fitness room. Had 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, bikes, 2 weight benches with weights available, yoga mats, pilates ball.

We would definitely stay here again. Resort was clean, staff nice, pool area clean, and beach close. Great family trip.

After four nights at this resort I can say I am very impressed! The rooms are modern, clean, and well attended. The pool area is beautiful and we had no issues finding chairs even when the hotel was at maximum capacity. The beach is steps away and beach umbrellas and chairs did not need to be reserved at the crack of dawn. I would highly recommend this resort. Well done Sonesta!
