How to Get There
My husband, son and daughter-in-law had dinner there the first night of a week long vacation on Harbour Island. I had the conch chowder and it was very good. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dinners, and the waterside setting was very nice. Not too pricey
considering it was on Harbour Island! We did not stay at the resort, just had dinner.
I'll be honest right off the bat - we were guests of the owner - but we went in (being in the tourism biz ourselves) with our usual critical eye. We stayed in no. 5 which had a lot of space for 2 ppl (looked like it could sleep 3 or 4), indoor & outdoor shower. TV could have been a little bigger =) and A.C. worked great! They definitely cater to the marina business and understandably - and the docks make for a nice evening stroll and dolphin sightings (if lucky). Sunsets Restaurant was also really good!
We stopped by at Ramora for drinks before dinner, and we each tried a cocktail from the menu. We sat on a gorgeous terrace on the ocean while we watched the sunset, and the lovely waiter even offered to take a group picture for us!
This hotel provided a
mediocre experience . No tea making facility in the room and no one on reception in the evening. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but went for cocktails in the bar which were undrinkable and served in polystyrene cups. On the plus side a big comfortable bed and nice view.
This resort is such a beautiful hotel on such a beautiful, to is within walking distance to the marina, the restaurant is good with dockside food, live music and a DJ during the week, the staff at both places are very nice, polite and friendly, The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, the resort has pink sandy beaches & diving, restaurants and a decent shopping area.
