Charter a boat with Captain Rodney
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We chartered a boat thru Marc Tonis at Ramona Bay Marina. We were fortunate to have Captain Rodney take us on a 1/2 day boat expedition but did not expect to see as much as we did. We saw sea turtles, held starfish and then Captain Rodney spotted about 8 dolphin swimming under and around our boat. It was magical and breathtaking. He then took us to swim with pigs, showed us a gorgeous cliff where courageously locals climb it and dive off. Captain Rodney was also our photographer and entertainer. He couldn’t be nicer and more knowledgeable. Everyone at the Marina was extremely pleasant and accommodating.

Beware of gratuity
Reviewed 2 months ago

Harbour Island and the Romora Bay Hotel are beautiful. I was not pleased however when we received our statement for the week. There was an automatic 10% room gratuity added to our bill. $150 dollars for making a bed and changing towels for a 5 night stay seems excessive. I don’t know if this is standard practice for all of the Bahamas but beware.

It's a Marina with room

The staff as many have noted are excellent, they have a beautiful attitude and go out of their way to please people, top notch. BUT the resort is tired at best, the carpet in my room was filthy and their was substantial mold in my shower area. I would never recommend staying here, yes to drinks, yes to the food, but DON'T stay here
