Pampered and welcomed!

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute! The staff was incredible, Flo, Vanessa, Jasmine...to name a few...were exceptional! They arranged golf carts, made sure we knew our way around, and gave advice on what to see and what to do on Harbour Island. We felt at home and pampered, every need seen to, every aspect of our stay comfortable. We stayed in The Monkey Room which was perfect. The website states it may be noisy due to it's proximity to the dining room and we found that to be true but not a problem.

Top choice on Harbour Island

We have been to Harbour Island a number of times over the years between my husband and me. He's stayed at Pink Sands, we stayed at Dunmore and now Rock House. We really enjoyed being "in town" with a golf cart to get to the beach where Rock House has chairs, umbrellas, and drink service set up. You get the sunset over the Harbor and there's more action...we could walk to the Landings, the Wine/Sushi bar next to door or to Valentine's or Queen Conch. The Rock House itself is charming, with rooms in the Main House or in the back if you prefer peace and quiet. We had the Asian Suite which is in the way back which was perfect for us...2BR, 2 bath with a living/dining area and large wet bar. The rooms had nice King beds, with lots of closet and dresser space. Each room had a flat to screen tv, so 3 in all. Clean as a whistle and updated/well decorated. If you like the Ritz but a scaled down version with a tropical/asian/British colonial flair (?) This is your place. The service is excellent, the restaurant is maybe the best on the island, and the clientele is great...many return customers and friendly fellow travelers. Adults only. Very intimate feel which we loved. There's a workout room which was well equipped and a very nice pool surrounded by cabanas. The patio furniture was either Frontgate or Restoration Hardware caliber which I appreciated, very attractive and comfortable. Breakfast was included, which was coffee, tea, juice, muffins, yougurt and fruit. All in all, excellent stay...no complaints and hope to do it again next year! FYI, May is part of rainy season, and we had rain and storms periodically, however sunset was around 7:30, the water was warm and there wasn't stiffling heat. Also not horribly crowded which was perfect.

Forty Year Anniversary
Sally A

We celebrated our forty year anniversary here. A fun place decorated with bright colors. The rooms were spacious and clean with everything you need such as a hair dryer, a robe, shampoo etc. A stocked mini bar even though a drink can be ordered any time of day. A welcome drink was provided. It was our first time to Harbor Island and the staff made sure we had information on where the beach was.. and the where to get a golf cart and where to eat. Food was excellent at this hotel. Service was GREAT!
