How to Get There
We stayed at this hotel after sailing in the Grenadine islands. Clean , spacious , water view was lovely , pleasant staff . Great location for visiting and touring the island. Food at the hotel was average , service was slow.
My wife and I stayed here for three nights to see part of St. Vincent before going to Bequia. The location is good, fairly central, but don't expect to walk on the main highway. There are three restaurants and a marina store on site. We really appreciatted the store as it is well stocked for a small shop. We ate at the cafe and the beach bar and both were delicious and quick (for the carribean). I recommend the chicken sandwich at the beach bar.
The atmosphere at the hotel is very laid back, but everyone was willing to help at any moment. There was always a security guard on duty patrolling the grounds. The housekeeping and maintence staff were very friendly. The only problem we had was our door keycard reader stopped working and the staff had to get a device to reprogram it. It took maybe 15 minutes for that and it was a minor inconvienance.
We had a marina view room which overlooked the beach and marina. The room was clean and well equiped. You are allowed smoke on the balcony, which we liked. Overall the room was comfortable and the a/c very cold.
We had lunch at this lovely place in St. Vincent it was buffet style, food was very fresh and tasty was amazing, the curried mutton was EXCELLENT!! as well as the fish and everything else, manager was very welcoming and professional as well as the staff. Highly recommend this place - the only thing I would recommend is to cover the salad from all the flies, that kinda put me off a little, maybe have lids for the salad bar as well.

We came to the Loft for lunch because this is where Michael's boat dropped us off from Bequia on the way to the airport, which was great in that it's closer to Argyle than Kingston (and thus, less winding road to get carsick from). The food was really good and the server attentive. It surprised me that this marina does not have an ATM machine, but overall nice place and nice view of the marina. I was pleasantly surprised at the varied menu, too. It was a nice change to have tasty quesadillas.
No reason to stay there unless you absolutely need to spend a night at St V. It is well positioned between an airport and an harbor and has a nice cafe that doesn’t belong to the hotel. Their own restaurant is not as good. The rooms are comfortable and the views are pretty. But the customer service is atrocious. There’s no elevator, whilst all the rooms are on the second floor. No one offered any help with luggage on our way there, neither did they care to ask us if we need any help upon checking I out. We were told to checkout at 12pm, and when I reasoned that our reservation stated 12:30pm, the concierge actually came up to check that as if I were a lying child! No apology followed, she just shrugged and left.
This hotel could have been a little gem, but someone needs to hire and train decent employees.
