How to Get There
Everyone couldn’t have been nicer. Excellent service, clean rooms, great spa, pool with lazy river, and great golf on premises. A big shout out to Adam in Management, Char at Concierge desk, Ian at golf, and Jimmy for a great massage. We’ll be back.
Scottsdale Westin dropped the ball. The villa we had had one window and a slider in bedrm. Rest of the villa was dark. Bathtub has a 2ft ledge you have to step over to get in tub/ shower. Tub is the narrowest tub I've encountered.
Grounds are clean.
Resort and villa are 2 separate properties. Villa side has 2 pools resort side has the wave machine, lazy river and pools.
It's HOT here. Not much to do unless u drive or a shuttle. If you don't mind being in heat there's hiking 30 minutes away.
Furniture is dated.
Pool area has cabanas but no mister or fans inside. It's 95 and no fan or mister.
Lazy river closes early.
No Coke products on property, which suckz!
Scottsdale is basically a retirement community.
In the past we have come here and have much enjoyed the property. This time it was unacceptable. In one of the ice and water alcoves refill your water bottle and get ice cube there was one inch of standing water in that area because it had flooded. I reported it as soon as I saw it to two different people and as I was walking by a half hour later for the elevator it was still there. So I reported it again. 2 hours later as I was passing by it again it was still there. I went downstairs and complain to a manager that it had been that way who knows how long set in the two and a half hours that I had seen it and reported it to three people. So I don't know if it has been corrected. Also 10 in the morning walking from the main entrance to the pool there was a gentleman who is spraying pesticides or herbicides all over the sidewalk he had a mask on but it was spraying everywhere he wanted to go to the workout room the pool to spa music gift shops it was spraying all over you. And you could smell it. That was very dangerous. On helpful. So I walked all the way around property to get what I needed to go. Siri neglected to do turndown service the first night. The carpeting have not been vacuum. And at night they close down the valet service before 11 p.m. so just coming back in are at a loss as to where to park their car how to hand over their keys. So we had to get up early so that they knew that we had parked in there valet area. Also I got a call from the concierge to come down and get my free gift and discounts. When I came down to the concierge it was a cell for their fellows disguised as regular coupons and making special Arrangements at restaurants. I was not interested and they kept pushing for me to do a 90-minute tour which I didn't have time for. I finally got out of their 15 minutes later after telling them I don't have time there's no way I can do it this trip. I found out rude for a luxury hotel I will not be staying here again.
