Design Overload!

It’s fun to spot the “Ghosts of the Ritz Carlton” in this renovated hotel. The traditional decor of the Ritz has in part been retained but modernized, resulting in a unique aesthetic. Some elements border on the gimmicky and will become quickly dated, but I have to give them credit for trying something new and bold. The pool area is rather dismal and stark, but the fitness center is great and well-stocked with equipment… and I love the sign on the wall: “Sweat is Fat Crying”! Had good breakfasts in the on-site restaurant, and especially liked their homemade jams. All-in-all, no complaints about this hotel, but no raves either. It’s a solid choice, and if the price is right I’d have no problem staying here again.

Comfortable, Interesting, Fantastic Location

The Camby is an Interestingly decorated boutique. Upon arrival I was greeted kindly by Joshua, he thanked us for being a Platinum Elite member, offered us a $10 welcome voucher and a $30 breakfast voucher (no lounge on property). I was checked into a standard room and asked if any upgrades where available and was quickly told no. We then went to our room and I was a bit taken back by the dark halls with very low ceilings (my other half is over 7’ tall and could easily hit his head in the hallway). The room was also dark and quite small, I was rather disappointed and began to look for another property to stay. As I was researching other Marriott properties I came across the Camby and noticed suits available. I returned to the front desk and again spoke to Joshua and asked why I was told no upgraded rooms were available when clearly there was. Joshua took the time to look and was able to find us an upgrade, kudos. However, I did not appreciate the lack of time spent (none) to look the first time. The location of this property is superb, fantastic food and shopping all within walking distance. Would I recommend this property to others? No and I will not be returning myself only because I did not appreciate the lack of effort to take care of a Loyal brand member.

Fun room but no mention during booking $33 plus tax per night for valet is only parking

Clean modern room with fun touches such as navy blue trim and a fun steer lamp that has a light that shines down that says "moo". Good water pressure in the roomy shower. However, if a hotel doesn't have any option for parking other than $35 per night (including tax on the charge) for valet parking, I want to know that while booking. I told person when I checked in and she said "it was on the website". I shouldn't have had to go looking for it-- I would have stayed elsewhere if I had known. Breakfast not included and wifi not secure.

Great Hotel, great location

we stayed here for only one night as a stop over from Tucson to fly out the next morning. We will definitely plan a longer stay the next time we're in the area. The hotel is in a great location. The gym was fully stocked with high end equipment. Yes, the valet is $33 but the in/out privileges was very convenient if you plan to go shopping and dining. Chris was great and very knowledgeable and friendly, the car was always ready for us when we called for it. Check in and out was very fast and efficient.

Great hotel with a even better resturant

Hotel a remodeled ritz. Whimsical touches all over party. Just a fun hotel. Beds so comfortable Good service from front desk. Great shopping everywhere around the property.
Ate dinner and brunch at the artisan Great service from jimmy. They have a amazing wine guy who has so much knowledge and passion but is not a wine snob. They both made the evening a experience not just a dinner. The food was so delicious. Healthy and the veg dishes unique. I felt the prices were fair exspecially considering it was in hotel.
