Best Resort for a Wedding, Family Reunion or a Business Conference

One of the best things about Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch is that it offers a relaxing atmosphere yet very intimate attention to customer service. From the moment you arrive until you depart, each member of the hotel staff greet and treat you like you are the only one at the resort- a VIP. My husband and I were fortunate to celebrate our wedding reception at the resort in 1988 and have since returned to host our annual Management Conference at this resort since 2017! From 1988 to now, this resort has always been an exceptional, well appointed place for celebrations and conferences. #lovescottsdaleresort

"A Glitch in our system"
maia k

I was recently booking a corporate event for 36 people in Scottsdale AZ. After speaking to many different hotels in the area, and explaining that I was on a short deadline, John told me that they could accommodate my team as well as work within our budget. I went to see the property and gave a $3500 deposit. Signed a contract as well. Thinking everything was confirmed, I sent out the travel itinerary to 35 people across the globe. The following Monday, they called to inform me that there "was a glitch in their system" and they were "over booked" for the dates I requested. Without going into the level of anger I felt, all I can say is that this hotel is a complete disappointment on all fronts. I will never recommend this hotel for any corporate events. Not only have they left my organization in a state of panic, trying to find hotel and meeting space, but clearly they have to call the other people that they "over booked" as well. Also, they don't really seem to concerned or apologetic. Please look elsewhere. Safe yourself the hassle.

Conference and personal stay

Good location, overall nice hotel and great staff. Rooms are not that quiet - thin walls depending on where you stay. Go for a room facing the pool on a high floor facing out. Nice trip overall. I’d go back.
