How to Get There
It was busy but not so busy you couldn’t find a machine to play. Hard to get on older machines like a buffalo. People sit there and play two cents or $.10 or $.20 and hog the machines. The new machines like the four wonders when you get a bonus we’re awful for me. It’s a big casino with lots of choices and plenty of parking.
I have been visiting Wildhorse Pass Gila River Casino's poker room since 1998 when it was in the old location. Even though the number of tables has decreased from 100 to 24, the games still remain vital and the clientele are nicer and more relaxed than any other poker room in the valley. The dealers and management are pleasant and professional. The comps are good (although there is always room for improvement). The food menu needs work and I do miss the inclusion of Lung and Louie's items. For the most friendly game at any financial level ($3/$6 - $5/$500), with sports splash pots, rolling cash each hour, bad beat jackpots that reset at $7,500, Aces cracked Monday-Friday ($100), Royal Flush $100 + $100 splash, and daily tournaments they have great offerings.
I have both spent the night in their hotel and also just on a one day visit. It has very nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Slot machines, which they had a variety of and ate at the food court, delicious.
