How to Get There
Whenever I'm in the area I stay at this hotel. The staff has always been very friendly and the room service has been top notch. The rooms are always very clean and smell very clean and nearly new. Plenty of space to get work done if you have to and a very nice functional restroom. The pillows are comfortable as well as the beds. The hotel grounds are also very well kept and nice.
Casino Survey WHP
I have a couple comments, as a ruby card holder for years i have noticed that my rewards/bonus play has been reduced and not seeing the benifits that I used to experiance in previous years. I used to be offered free rooms, concert tickets and even invited to slot tournaments. I see none of that anymore and there is really no value to being or holding a players club card at the Gila River Casinos. Although I do receive free night offers from VEE Quiva casino and I rarely visit that casino, and is odd as I would expect to receive offers from my home casino WHP. My wife a gold players club member is feeling the changes as well. No more of the nice benifits that used to come with being a valued GOLD players club member. The Gold members lounge is no longer offered to the valued GOLD member card holders. We have noticed that the machines have been tightened up and hardly payout great bonuses or jackpots. We have been going to other casinos more often, not the Gila River Casino brand as we feel that our gambling experiance is much more rewarding and appreciated at the other brand casinos, excluding Talking Stick. I am just sharing my observations and experiences over the last couple of years or so with the Gila River Casino brand as my wife and I are visiting WHP casino far less than we used too. If we where having fun and felt that we were valued we would still choose WHP over the other casinos, but simply put the benifits have been disappearing slowly over the past year or so. We do like the atmosphere/property at the WHP, but that doesn't make up for the poor slot machine and players club benifits that we have been experiencing. I hope that Gila River Casinos will change the policies that have been put in place and bring back the experiance that we used to have as valued members of the players club. Thank You for the fun that we had in the past at WHP casino. Go to other casinos you will have a much more rewarding experience.
Value is supreme here, especially in the summer and fall. Plenty of restaurants, bars and a nice swimming pool area with a bar. They have a pretty good casino. Summer rates drop down quite a bit. Rooms are clean.
the rooms were excellent and the view amazing! everything was clean and in order. Breakfast was good but unfortunately it's not included in the room pricing so I had to pay seperately for it. It was good anyway as they have a wide selection. staff was helpful and nice as well.
The hotel is very easy to get to off I-10, south of Phoenix. Since we had a reservation, our check-in was easy and efficient. We were given a warm greeting and given a friendly smile while answering our hotel questions. Our room was clean, very comfortable and quiet. Check-out was also very easy and efficient.
