How to Get There
We took a mother/daughter trip to Belize and stayed at Casita #1 at Coco Beach. We absolutely loved it there! From the moment we pulled into the resort and were greeted by Gabriella, we couldn't have asked for better accommodations! The casita was gorgeous and we could even sneak a peek of the ocean from our roof top balcony. Every place we ate at the was phenomenal! They even cooked the fish caught from a fishing adventure we went on. The resort itself is smaller, which gives it a cozy feel and you are never overwhelmed by large crowds. We made use of the complimentary bikes which made for a nice afternoon. And my daughter just raved about the pool and pool slide! It was also great that there was a tour company (Tuff E Nuff)within walking distance to do some fantastic day trips. The beach does leave a bit to be desired but in my mind everything else this resort offers quickly makes you forget that. This mother/daughter duo had a blast and felt really relaxed and safe. We definitely hope to come back and stay here again!
Our two room sea view suite was amazing! We were literally on the ocean! The dining at this resort is varied and delicious! There are two amazing pools! The service we received from the concierge to wait staff was wonderful!
We went for dinner one night and the food was just delious so we tried it for luch and the food again was great. The wait staff was ecelllent and made sure all our needs were met. Drinks were made just right and Ice Cold as well
We had a great 2-night stay in May 2019 at Coco Beach Resort. The Casita was beautiful with a full kitchen with granite countertops. The bed was very comfortable and the unit was very clean. We had a fun time in the pool and at the bar having some tasty rum cocktails! We rented a golf cart in town so we would have it the whole time instead of using their transportation and then renting one. Secret Beach was a little further than we thought but definitely worth it! We would 100% choose to stay at Coco Beach again.
Saturday May 18th we got married at Ramon’s Village and the staff and location completely exceeded our expectations. We stayed there 3 nights, then wanted to disconnect from some friends and family staying behind at Ramon’s and decided to check this place out. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful resort and the rooms are very nice. However, I booked this hotel with the intention of spending a lot of time at the pool/ hot tub area. Not one, but two of there only hot tubs were broken. That was the main amenity we were really looking forward to, a little romance and relaxation. We spent everyday driving back to San Pedro town, because aside from Secret beach there wasn’t much to do on this side of town. We decided to try breakfast at their cafe, and it took 20 minutes to receive a COLD macchiato. I don’t think any coffee was in the drink. We then waited another 20 for our food, very basic food. I understand waiting for an amazing meal, but this was a joke. Mind you, we were told at the front desk only a couple other rooms were booked at this time, so the resort just looked very dead. The beach was smelly & dirty. It’s a shame considering this was supposed to be the laid back, relaxing part of our trip but it really just turned into a disappointing waste of money. We look forward to coming back to San Pedro, but unfortunately Coco beach won’t be the place for us.
